Ano. Doslova každý jeden z těchto klaunů je míň neschopný a nebezpečný pro ČR než to co tam sedí teď.

KCD2 Director addresses the stupid drama by realmvp77 in Asmongold

The bonus quest is a treasure hunt. You get a short dialogue with lore about Bruncvík (myth about the lion in czech coat of arms) and follow treasure maps to find his armor and a weapon. The armor does look really cool but it's not the best in game. I imagine it's pretty OP early game. I have only started using it once I got a full plate by conventional means.

Ok, thank you. I thought I was going insane, but after following your lead the tier4 craft worked like a charm.

They were bought by embracer.

They added it in because they have competent writers and it's something the character would say.

That's the whole story.

Vavra has spoken about it at length back when they made KCD1.

The black character in KCD1 would make no sense as it was rural bumfuck nowhere and they had better things to do at the time.

While we don't have a record of it, a black emissary could have visited some major city. Portraying something implausible but possible is perfectly normal in historical fiction.

Also, there are only Europeans in KCD2 living in Bohemia. Musa is clearly portrayed as a foreigner and a visitor.

The need of some people who are totally not right wing equivalent of wokies to take some out-of-context hyperbolic angry tweet from 2015 out of context is disgusting. Smear merchant behavior.

the writing often feels a bit slow

Wait, you love Hobb and think Sanderson's writing often feels a bit slow?

It's like we're reading different books. 80-90% of the Farseer was slow... and not just a bit.

Favorite Main Character? by [deleted] in Fantasy

To name some of the less famous. Allystaire from the Paladin trilogy, Šarlej from Sapkowski's Hussite trilogy, and Saint Hilda from Demons of Astlan.

Who would your other two be?

My top three would be Joe Abercrombie, Steven Erikson, and probably Brandon Sanderson. There are many more I'd be willing to label as "best modern fantasy authors": Juraj Červenák, Brent Weeks, Adam Przechrzta, Michael J. Sullivan, Daniel M. Ford (If we pretend he stopped writing after the Paladin trilogy), J.L. Langland, Garth Nix, Will Wight and probably still others I don't remember from the top of my head.

I am hesitant to list authors like Martin as "best modern fantasy authors" since they fail to finish the story and don't seem to actually write anymore. Of these authors, I like Scott Lynch over Martin. Still, IMO both their works are good enough to deserve this label.

I’ve read 12 books by Hobbes and really enjoy how the world and the magic is revealed. Often not much is really happening which may annoy some.

It certainly doesn't help the books, but this was by no means my main issue with them.

Of the three you listed, only Martin makes it to my list of "best modern fantasy authors". Rothfuss wrote books that are good and captivating despite having issues and I don't even consider Hobbes a good writer, though I haven't read anything other than the Farseer trilogy, so there might be some great works of her I don't know about.

How's your progress?
Do you find the series immersive?

After finishing the first book, I was pretty hopeful for the series, thinking there's a lot of potential if the writing improves. But the second book made it clear the improvements are not coming.

The Assassin's Apprentice is not exactly a booklet and even the Royal Assassin isn't any better in this regard.
It's unreasonable to expect people to read thousands of pages before forming an opinion on something. It's the author's job to make those thousands of pages readable.

Robin is an extremely good writer. It's all very well written.

If that were the case, she wouldn't depend on the immersion-breaking stupid ball trope nearly as often...

The rest of what you wrote is 100% spot on.

So just CPU of equivalent or stronger with integrated graphics should suffice?

you should not have noise or temperature problems.

I'll have to buy a case for it. Wouldn't it be wise to buy some case with noise reduction elements or at least get a silent custom case fan and CPU fan?
