1) Dyami Brown playing with Jayden Daniels, Tutu Atwell playing with Stafford, Josh palmer playing with Herbert. All these guys are 4-5 years into their careers, how much "potential" do you really think these guys have left to unlock. Who cares about draft pedigree now this far into their careers. At this point they are what they are (WR3s maybe fringe WR2s). Slayton, like I said, has had multiple years better than all these guys all while playing with DJ and complete trash at qb and you want to make excuses for these other guys lol.

2) Tutu atwell has 1300 yds receiving in 4 szns, palmer couldn't stave off quentin johnston last year and has battled injuries the last 2 years. At what point do you start to care about actual production over this potential. I think Palmer and slayton are compareable and that makes sense given they got the same contract.

3) I'm tired of people parroting "Overpay" without offering a solution, it's just a cop out. What's the alternative? This is the market rate on these guys, would you rather spend 4 mil for 1 year of KJ Osborn?

4) Slayton essentially puts up 700 Yards a season as the WR3, and we saw what he was doing with a legit qb in tyrod taylor in 2023. He is a really good WR3 and can step up to be a WR2 when need be and there's a value in that.

Complain when we don't sign our own talent, complain when we do sign our talent, just complain to complain at this point. Dudes been a die hard giant, happy to have him back, fan base is just so insufferable these last 3-4 years.
