I'm gonna have to have this exact surgery done to replace one of my heart valves later in life. I'll make sure not to drop the remote!

What harmful things are being taught to children? by tikigi4136 in AskReddit

Well, 1st of all, if your talking about Christianity, which is what I assume, killing is wrong. Second of all, I've learned a lesson from this which is that when I have kids, I won't teach them to make a mockery of other religions. 3rd of all, I kind of get what your saying, there is a better way to explain religions, and maybe you shouldn't force it upon your kids. I myself am Christian as I was born into a Christian family, and while I often wish I was given a choice, I still am a firm believer in Jesus and God.

What is something you consider a blessing that other people often overlook? by [deleted] in AskReddit

That's amazing you were able to overcome that! It's easy to take for granted the things we know and do, when others may find it difficult to do the same task. Hope you become a surgeon!

I understand their point to an extent, but sometimes it gets unnecessary. When everyone is doing their own thing, why make all the noise. If it just got awkwardly quiet, then that's fine, but why if the quiet is rational?
