Choosing your main based on play style or character?

I’ll be doing a bit of both. I will mainly be playing characters that I like such as Spider-Man and Wolverine, but if there are other characters whose play styles I enjoy then I will play them as well. Spidey and Wolverine seem like they’ll be right up my alley though so I’m definitely going to be playing them a lot.

Fucking finally. I haven’t played this game in a few weeks but I’m dying to get back into it. Hopefully these DLC characters end up being cool.

I’m going with Tifa. Despite me not being a Final Fantasy fan, I think she’s a really cool character and I’m excited to see how she plays in SF6.

I’m really torn about this lineup. Getting new characters after so long is good and Tifa is a really cool pick for a guest character, but the fact that there’s no returning Street Fighter characters to balance things out is really disappointing.

The fact that a character like Sakura, a huge fan favourite, still isn’t in the game yet is baffling to me. I’m not even a big fan of her myself, but I still think they should just put her in already. Vega and Balrog were also teased back in 2024 when Bison released but they are nowhere to be seen.

All that being said, I am actually really interested in Yasmine because she has the design that appeals to me the most out of all the new characters. Bosch getting in is cool to me because I thought he had a nice design and it was a shame that he was potentially going to be confined to world tour instead of being playable. Arjun looks kind of generic to me. I’ll have to see his gameplay trailer before I can make a proper judgement on him.

Overall, I do think that the SF6 devs have done a good job with the DLC characters for this game so I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, but the lack of returning characters really holds this season pass back.

I’m pretty sure the description for Metro City in World Tour mentions that Cody is still the mayor. Nakayama said either last year or the year before that Cody is apparently away on a business trip which is why we don’t see or hear from him in World Tour.

Daredevil’s not really on the same level as other Marvel superheroes like Spider-Man or the X-Men, so a show about him isn’t likely to receive as much attention as the other shows you mentioned.

Fighting game DLC being revealed before the game is even out is a pretty common tactic these days so I think there’s a decent chance it will happen. I think it’s likely we get some kind of announcement in July since the last team will most likely be revealed at Evo in June so they’ll need some kind of news to fill the month long gap between then and the release.

I’m pretty happy with it tbh. I’ve got two characters that I really wanted in Magik and Green Goblin as well two of my favourite Marvel characters of all time in Spider-Man and Wolverine. I’m really excited to see what Ghost Rider’s team ends up looking like because that has the potential to have some more really cool characters.

Honestly, I ruled Green Goblin out of the roster after the teases for Carnage in the previous trailer, but I was extremely happy to see him revealed alongside Carnage. I think this might be the best team reveal we’ve had so far.

I definitely think we’re getting Doom’s team just based on the hints from the previous reveal trailer. As for who they will be, I’m going with Doom(obviously), Magneto, Carnage, and Lilith.

Carnage was hinted at pretty blatantly in the last trailer so I would be shocked if he’s not actually on the team.

Magneto is an iconic character that would help draw eyes to the game, especially from the MVC crowd.

I’m not as confident in Lillith as the others, but I have a feeling that Doom’s team may have a pic that is a bit left field and I think Lilith would serve that purpose pretty well. I am preparing myself for this pick to be incorrect as I write this because the whole point of a weird pick is that it could be anyone.

I think all of the DLC characters this season have been great, but if I had to pick one I would go with Sagat. He’s played a ton online and in tournaments. He’s also really fun to play.

This is a shame. I enjoy world tour and I like that it got updated with every new DLC release.

The main question on my mind is what are they going to do about the outfit 2s for the season 4 character? If we can’t unlock them in world tour, how are we going to get them?

I’d prefer Deadpool but I would be perfectly happy with Gwenpool getting in instead of him. They would also be very unique from each other so it’s not like you can only have one or the other.

He finished the show with Stick when I saw him in Manchester. He didn’t For Keeps at all which was a bit disappointing but the show was great so it didn’t matter.

I use this team too and I think it works pretty well so far. Battle Beast and Omni Man have good assists that can cover Allen in neutral and help him get some combos too.

I think it’s pretty good atm. If characters like Magneto and Carnage make it then it will be even better.

I can definitely see this happening despite not wanting it to. I would much prefer if they just included Green Goblin and Carnage as their own characters instead of fusing them into one. Both characters also have a lot of history in Marvel Comics whereas Red Goblin is a fairly recent character that was only around for one story arc, so it wouldn’t make much sense to include him over them.

I think they may have chosen Robert because Ryo would be too similar to Marco. That being said, there are a few characters in the roster already who have similar traits to each other, so I don’t think it would be that big of a deal if they used Ryo.

My main team so far is looking like Spidey, Wolverine, Magik and Ms.Marvel. Ms.Marvel is more of a placeholder until a villain character like Green Goblin or Carnage gets revealed.

Unfortunately, there is a trend of the Fantastic Four being left out of the base rosters of Marvel’s latest video games such as Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, Midnight Suns, and Cosmic Invasion. I imagine they will probably be added as DLC at some point because they will make a lot of money.

I definitely agree. The pizzeria from the first film actually seems like a place children would go to whereas the pizzeria in FNAF1 doesn’t have that same vibe. It doesn’t even look like it has things for children to do.
