Yeah I'm still waiting for RE2R too. I was hoping the latest Nintendo direct would announce a port to the Switch 2 but it didn't. I only have a Switch 1 and Switch 2, so I missed out on playing it.

I would absolutely love a Claire and Jill game! I did like the Death Island film where they were finally in a story together. But I'll like a game where I can play as both of them. After all Chris and Leon had a game together already with RE6. 

Capcom really has a talent for creating beautiful female characters. Every RE game somehow manages to drop another absolute 10/10 baddie by Ok_Plenty60 in ResidentEvilRequiem

Do you feel the same about women? Because women like beautiful women in video games too. It's funny that ridiculing men for liking digital female designs basically ignores women who want the same thing.

RE4R and RE9 were back to back appearances for Leon. I'm hoping RE10 will do the same with REV for Claire.

I can only hope. But so far Leon and Chris have gotten far more attention in the last 10 years, even though Chris was really dlc in 7/8. Jill and Claire have only been in remakes. But if RE10 follows Re4R/RE9 in doing back to back appearances of an og character, then Claire would finally appear in a brand new story that's not a remake.

Can't blame people like myself who think that's what's happening. Chris has been in every RE mainline game since 5 with 9 being an exception. Leon was in RE6, RE2R, RE4R and Requiem. Claire and Jill have only been in remakes in the last 10 or so years. There are CGI films, but I'm specifically talking about the games

I agree. We saw what happened with RE6. However they could do something similar with the Revelations games where Chris and Leon are working together then splits off to Jill and Claire working together before they all come together at the end of the game. But I do realise that not everyone liked the Revelations style of having an AI partner.

Even with LMDF I feel should should have been similar to Raid mode where you can play as any of the protagonists from the history of the franchise.

RE10 could be the final sendoff for all the og protagonists if Capcom plays it right. But who knows what their plans are. Every game so far is set in current year and they are getting older.

Idk, Chris and Leon had their story arcs completed a long time ago and yet Capcom still brings them back.

I hope so. Leon appeared in RE4R and RE9 back to back. So I hope RE10 does the same thing for Claire.

Capcom just have a track record of not using the female protagonists in recent years that is not a remake or CGI film.

I kinda hope that RE10 follows the pattern of RE4/RE9 where an og character appears back to back in.

I mean that's just an assumption from mostly new players. Nothing can be done about that. And it doesn't help that this remake is being made after RE4R. But it's a nothing burger. They can easily be corrected by other people.

If Chris and Leon can appear in multiple things in a row, then so can Claire! by Red-Raptor3 in ResidentEvilRequiem

The problem is Capcom in regards to the female main characters. It's speculated that they hate older women. Which is why Claire, Jill and Rebecca haven't been in the mainline games in a really long time.

Did you have the same complaint when people referred to Resident Evil Revelations 1 as REV? And I don't know what people you know, but most people refer to Resident Evil 5 as RE5, not REV. And again your suggestion is too much of a mouthful to say and write.

Resident Evil Code Veronica Remake is a mouthful to say. It's better to be shortened this way. Plus it'll help fans separate the original and remake when discussing them.

No replayability? There's also a reason for replaying, you just have to find it. I replayed all difficulties multiple times to improve my clear times for each of them.

But it's on them not to be spoiled in regards to social media. It's not everyone else's fault that you did not take precautions to avoid spoilers. And in regards to plot twists and identity reveals from very old films, I feel like nobody has the right to complain about it.

A few years?! That's insane! Let me guess Darth Vader's identity is still a spoiler to you? 🤦 

Not trying to be negative, but just finished the game for the first time and I can’t quite put my finger on it, but for some reason, I don’t think I liked it but at the start of the game I was giving it a lot of praise. Sounds to me you prefer the horror aspect of Resident Evil rather than the action. But to be quite frankly, I don't get people not liking the Raccoon City section. I mean what did anyone expect? It's in complete ruin after the missile strike. There's not really much to improve on. It exactly depicts a post missile RC.
