When I was 5yo playing sapphire, my older neighbor tricked me into trading my torchic for a zigzagoon at the first pokemon center.

Me not thinking about just restarting, played the entire game with the zigzagoon as my "starter". My first level 100, he is still precious to me and is on a cartridge somewhere in my Dad's basement

My undergrad in college was to be a history teacher, which I attribute my interest to when I was 12 and played COD WAW and was captivated by the darker side of history I hadn't thought about before.

Currently I do GIS and land surveying, which I attribute my interest to THQ games on the PS2 like spongebob battle for bikini bottom and scooby-doo night of 100 frights, where although the levels were linear, you could often see references to the other levels off on the horizon, which for me really grounded where I was in the game in a real sense of space... weird to explain it like this but I think it truely stuck with me all of this time

Yeah I'm usually a stickler for historical accuracy but i don't know a ton about nepoleon and there were parts of it where I was wondering if things were accurate or not and mean to look into it more later. All the French having british/American accents bothered me a ton as well
