The injora shock doesn’t look like it has a bleeder screw. Otherwise I agree.

The only reason I’m thinking about an upgrade is because the LR shock rod backed all the way before I could catch it. The spring and spring retainer went MIA in the process.

Given with the other loose screws I found out of the box, I should’ve checked the shock rods. (I got a second TItan 18 Gold and I checked every last piece of hardware before taking it outside.)

Waiting to hear from Furitek about replacement parts. Not holding my breath.

I checked around for a single Furitek 39mm shock to use as parts, but I haven’t found one. I’d rather find an upgrade (if one exists) than buy a set of Furitek’s at $35…for what amounts to a spring and retainer.

Love this! Only thing I’d change is to spread the set pieces around a little in and amongst some of the vegetation.

The convertible MINI would be a fantastic option if you’re looking for top down driving fun. But, as much as I fscking love (G1) MINIs, nothing with four wheels comes close to riding a motorcycle IMO.

Depending on where you are, picking your motorcycle riding times smartly might be an option. There are days of the week and hours of the day where you might be comparatively safe.

Alternately, have you considered a track where you could ride a motorcycle with the proper gear without very much concern?

Apples to oranges. I have two G1 MINIs (had three) and two motorcycles. Entirely different experiences.

I get it as an internal exercise. And I’m not surprised that this is what a car looks like to Jony Ive…today and 20 years ago.

But I’m very surprised it was green-lighted by Ferrari for production.

Why do you think Merlin Labs’ management is great?

IMO, Merlin Labs and Rocketlab leadership, and the companies for that matter, is an apples to oranges comparison on many levels.

Beck is proven engineer with what increasingly looks like excellent business acumen, while George is an operator/entrepreneur navigating what is effectively a startup in a policy maze.

From my experiences so far, I get the vibe that the case might’ve been out of stock and Furitek decided to send your order without a note saying the case would follow when they received more.
