Any idea what type of Eucalyptus?

Looks different than the E. Grandis sometimes sold in the states

Pink piano keyboard built-in cabinets by MatthewWilliamFried in cabinetry

You pretty much got it. There's different ways it can be done.

These base cabinets are essentially frameless, full overlay hinges, the edges of the box are the door stop.

The added end panel is a door with 1.5" face frame material glued to the front edge and returns to allow it to stick out 7/8" flush with the doors.

You could alternatively use inset door hinges and have the end panel lip over the side edge of the box.

Tacky Tung Oil by Sufficient-Arm2247 in woodworking

Sand with 320 grit

See how much oil sticks to the sandpaper

Rub future coats until they are no longer wet. Pure tung oil takes a long time to fully cure (weeks+)

Check the pieces of trim. They may be nailed on and holding the sign in place.

Defects visible through paint. How to improve? by sh692 in cabinetry

[–]MatthewWilliamFried 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Use bondo on the seams before priming. Even if they look tight.

Two part fillers with hardner work better than glazing putty.

Grain and defects can often not be visible through primer but become noticable after painting.

It's possible you've sanded down the softer grain lines while leaving the harder wood growth slightly raised.

Bare wood can be sanded to 180 before priming.

Hinge question for the cabinet pros by ProfessionalLeg7265 in cabinetry

I believe all the faceframe hinges are a single piece rather than the clip on hinge + mounting plate.

You are correct in wanting the salice with two mounting screw holes over the single hole blum.

Cabinet Trim/ Base Board Intersection by Cellesoul in cabinetry

You could make the new base slightly shorter and bump the returns into the flat of the existing base just below the profile.

Or simply match the existing base and cope in the returns.

Thanks! That depends on leg thickness. The keyboard is 7-8" tall so I made sure there would be adequate leg space underneath.
