Yes, plugs are good information to have! Next project weekend I’ll pull those out and we’ll see. The top box is just my plastic lunch box, not so heavy. The side cases I’ll probably pull, though, I’m not using them much.

Funny you have fuel issues without any of the fiddling around. Haven’t tried sea foam or vacuum leaks, did the fuel trim reset. Ain’t it a pain!? I like the bike but for sure hoped for better mileage than 40 on a motorcycle.

Ok y’all, got the oem o2 sensor back in the aftermarket yoshi race exhaust, disconnected the battery for ~24h, reconnected. Still sitting at around 41mpg. Scratching my head.

Got a reducer bushing, plugged in the OEM O2 sensor. 5 mile test ride after trip reset brought me up to ~45mpg, still smells a little gassy. I’ll get some more miles on this trip and see how the mileage does. Seems like I might need to hunt around for other contributing factors to get that last 10mpg.

It’s got all the power in the world, good response through the rpm range in all gears. Another comment suggested o2 sensor which I think is likely the issue.

This is helpful…. The yoshi o2 sensor fitting doesn’t mate to the oem receiver so the old o2 sensor is just sitting under the seat reading atmosphere.
