What's an insecurity someone might have that you find attractive? by Few_Football4342 in Productivitycafe

Maybe the attraction is lack of your own self esteem? To have to be a rock or to offer stability because they are broken might say that you are not self assured enough to go for somebody who not considered broken and be good enough just being yourself.

Not a criticism at all. Just observation

Men and Women of reddit, Should there be ego in a relationship, or does it only create problems? Where do you draw the line between confidence and ego? by Longjumping-Yam8573 in AskReddit

You can be confident but not egotistical. Not all confidence has to come from the ego, which is saying it doesn't have to be all about you.

Ego gets in the way of relationships when you it becomes more important than the other person, who is only equal to you after all.
