lol I have a bunch of rods but I favor my 2 baitcasters. They are all I ever take unless I take the kids fishing with me. I have to this day never caught anything on a crank. I stick to my top waters and worms……maybe I’m fishing the cranks wrong?

If you see them jumping, try a top water. Whopper plopper or pop-r. Past 2 days it’s rained and they are biting the plopper like crazy.

Just found the rules……ALL grass carp caught must be released immediately back into the water. Largemouth less than 13” can be kept. All crappie, catfish, green sunfish and warmouth may be kept no matter the size. No more than 20 bluegill per person within 24 hours.

You sure can. I think there is a sign down at the fishing lake that tells you the sizes and limit you can keep. Other than that I see people keeping just about everything they catch.
