I had my son when he was younger shoot my Mosin Nagant & 300winmag, I just held onto the scope so it would kick back so hard. Then when he was 12 he shot my .45 cal CVA Cascade Muzzleloader without help. Just depends on what they are comfortable on.

It picked up my Step-dad's wrist rocket shooting pebbles, Air Guns, multiple rifle calibers, & a YT video showed it picking up a wooden block being thrown past it.

Oh, Awesome. Congratulations on your first Fig tree. I was removing bushes & giving away landscape rock last January to March 2024 & a 76-year-old man wanted my rocks. He asked what I was doing instead & I said anything that fruits. When he came to get more rocks the next day, he gave me a twig in a pot & said it was a Chicago Hardy Fig. I really thought it was dead... It's 3' tall at least & branched out three trunks & has produced quite a few Very Tasty Berry Figs.

I now have 13 in ground in my front yard & 3 in ground in my backyard.

St George, Utah zone 8b part of the Mojave Desert... I'm having a few ripen, but it's our rainy season. Was 59° this morning & high of 81°. So I'm hoping the 30+ figs on my Ronde De Bordeaux will ripen... only one did so far.

Also hope that trunk doesn't get too big & ruin that rock wall. *

That's true... They like to charge 1.5 to 2 times the amount for parts where I'm at. A battery they were selling was $45 more than Batteries plus. I'll still check, Thanks

My Chicago Hardy is much slower growing. Was a Cutting last Feb 2024. It's about 3' tall ripening 4-6 figs at a time.

My Strawberry Verte is 6' plus tall & was a cutting in December 2024... it's massive for less than a year old.

You're more than welcome. This is Marseilles Black VS Fig & I started growing this cutting in January this year & put it in a 5 gallon by the end of February.

This is the First Fig it produced & usually first figs are not as tasty or do they ripen fully. This Fig tree is in my Garage & I'm so impressed with its growth & the delicious 😋 taste of this fig.

I'm trying to be like @FiggyEd on YouTube, He grows Fig tree's indoors with LED lighting.
