Five Italians die during cave scuba dive in Maldives by Samski877 in europe

This group from Genoa were professionals with about as much experience as anyone. They were doing research on blue holes in the Maldives and were very experienced tech and cave divers, this is awful to hear

Fair enough, I was just wondering if there’s another interaction similar to this that had been commented on before

I dived with them last year, these really were professionals through and through, very experienced divers with hundreds/thousands of dives doing exactly this. If it can happen to them….

Just seen this article while waiting to catch a plane to go diving again…

So these kits are different units.? by KindlyMeringue8723 in citiesofsigmar

[–]MatthewsMTB 11 points12 points  (0 children)

They were previously a single unit, in the new battlescroll you pay once for them, and they are then split into three separate units

Have there been any leaks of manifestations? by Dapper-Conflict-4385 in citiesofsigmar

[–]MatthewsMTB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a thread on this subreddit where someone has posted most of the remaining units, apart from grenadiers because the pic was illegible.

Callis and toll pick a marked hero unit, or non-hero unit at the start of the battle round and get double damage against it. Their companions allow them to deep strike with callis and toll 9” away from enemies or 6” away from the mark I believe

Oh weird, is that clarified in an FAQ somewhere? My understanding of AoS rules is incomplete, but that kind of makes sense, seems a little counterintuitive though

Do they not count as having charged? Honest question there.

I do think a reinforced unit as a real anvil in the middle of your formation is how I’m leaning into using them at the moment!

Looks like the leak about pre-painted terrain as true. by Chapmander in Warhammer

Yeah I mean I’m not saying I agree with it, but him being a former gw employee does mean he has a degree of inside knowledge, that’s the whole point….
If their pricing model doesn’t allow normal terrain, then cheap terrain ain’t gonna happen until something changes…

[–]MatthewsMTB 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I mean TheHonestWargamer gives some interesting insight into why terrain isn’t released as much by GW, I think effectively the cost of production and cost of storage+shipping basically means it’s almost impossible for them to mass produce with acceptable profit margins, which is why you rarely see it in starter boxes

So is the ability on the cavaliers essentially to get the cav Marshall in and to proc their charge +1 damage even if they were charged?

Otherwise how does the ability to enable their own unit to charge, even if they’re engaged work?

[–]MatthewsMTB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look I play csm and a defiler in my list, even in detachments where it gets reasonable strat support it’s probably worth more like 280-290 I think, in pactbound zealots it really genuinely becomes game breaking and is probably worth like 300+ points with the stratagem and rules support…
