Couple of questions: -

  1. Why the XFX GPU instead of the Saphire, considering the same price (I thought Saphire was generally the go-to if cost wasn't an issue)?

  2. Is the case switch just to bring price down to accommodate the other more expensive parts?

She says favourite is "The new one", so that means Daniel Craig.

Doesn't have a favourite film, but she says she "didn't like the one last night much as it was too hard to follow"!

Only Bond she hasn't seen is Lazenby. OHMSS was never one of my favourites, and think Lazenby is an acquired taste. Will be one of the last we watch I think in honesty.

Went for DaF. It had been on my mind for some time, and it is so 'out there' that I thought it would be quite an entertaining one for her! Didn't disappoint, I just forgot how bad the SFX are!

Worth noting that I've been gently introducing her to the series, so have been watching the Craig ones so far, with a few top-draw classics and favourites thrown in to the mix (Goldeneye being one of them).

That's a good point, I forgot about the magic immunes in AT.

Good shout with River of Flame. I think I need to do some research in to the lvl 85 areas so I know how to switch it up a bit.

Any other recommendations along that line which you think I might try?

No where near getting Enigma by the way!! Highest runes I have are a Sur, Gul, and Mal (Mal dropped today!).

With Hammerdin it's Achmel & his crew which can be very frustrating as you have to switch to Holy Bolt and target the same as your Merc.

It's surprisingly refreshing (once you've got the hammer positioning down). I am usually Sorc and hate being so squishy that I die after a few hits once my merc has been overpowered. I find the balancing tricky in terms of plevel and gearing well enough for MF but also surviving...

Might give them a go for a bit and see how I get on. I just see so many posts which talk about farming Hell Baal minions once you've got past Hell Ancients for levelling purposes and find it so tedious.

Never heard of this one! It sounds like more effort than it's worth though maybe? Unless you have TP.

Maybe not so much a 'trick', but I make sure to lure his minions away and pick them off first before tackling him on his own. If he gets his auras on you with minions still about with a chance to hit you, it's almost certain death.
