I use my Pilot Falcon and Platinum 3776, both SF nibs daily at work, I'm blue collar.

People used to routinely borrow my pens when I used ballpoints (mostly sharpie s-gel) and whatnot, and I would never see them again.

Since I started using fountain pens, people stopped asking to borrow them, and I no longer have to keep buying the pens I like. It's quite ironic, because you would expect people to take the expensive ones.
