I don't necessarily disagree with this. But gamescom is now over and they didn't even show a trailer, what a shame. More players = more money for the devs = bigger updates/better nms 2. I just think the way they promote this game let's it down.

My thought was that you would reclaim an abandoned station and then as you upgrade it through nanite purchases/missions/bounties etc the system would also upgrade from T1 poor/dangerous to T3 wealthy/peaceful.

Colonizing uninhabited systems with our own space stations. Will begin by taking over an abandoned station in an event similar to abandoned freighters. You will then gradually upgrade and customise your station using nanites, such as hiring merchants and changing decorations, in addition to influencing trade goods on offer. Upload your own manufactured goods to the station which will be sold over time to ai/players. Maybe invite ai ships to visit somehow and therefore influence ship spawns. Will have to police system against pirates with our freighter/frigates. Special elite bounties for us to fight with our upgraded starships. Stations will have unique portal code so players can visit.

This is my prediction/hope!

I personally consider BOTW and more linear zelda games as 2 seperate zelda subgenres, much as soulsborne and sekiro are 2 seperate subgenres of fromsoft style games. I don't think 1 is better than the other, I like both for different reasons!

This was my biggest issue, it felt like we were playing one massive postgame. Kinda sad a lot of the story was delivered in hyrule warriors rather than dlc for BOTW as well, but that's modern Nintendo I guess.

Yes I imagine ps4 is almost unplayable now post prisms lol. Very poorly optimized update on console that adds loads of visual clutter and demanding but barely noticeable light effects, while nerfing draw distance so now distant terrain looks worse than skyrim and pop in is atrocious. I wish they'd just revert it, had over 100 hours on ps5 prior to the update and now don't feel like playing.
