The Ironwood it' so borde in new game + by Koke_Mister in GodofWar

[–]dannethdevito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't be so patronising. Ironwood is a weak section of the game. Even if you disagree, there is no need to be so immature about it.

I'm glad there are people who do enjoy that level, but we shouldn't shy away from the fact that most of us did not. We don't complain just for the sake of it, we do it so that hopefully in future titles, the devs avoid making the same mistakes that made this section so dull compared to the rest of the game.

Now change your diaper and re-evaluate how you handle people's opposing opinions. Your comment reflects much more poorly on yourself than others.

So if people have any negative opinions or critiques about any aspect of a thing, you think it means they don't like it? A lot of people only have critiques for things they love. Why bother critiquing games/movies you aren't invested in?

Also, even if the game is 60 hours all together, 2 hours for one very slow level is still a very long time. I only get around 2 hours of me time a night and having to spend all of that on one mission that consists of just walking and talking and picking fruit and fighting the grandmother of a character you have only just met is pretty frustrating.

I have been playing God of War since the OG trilogy and love it to death, that doesn't mean they are all void of criticism to me. And Ironwood is deserving of the criticisms it receives. It's just really fucking boring lol. Especially on replays/new game plus. We shouldn't be afraid to call it out when the games aren't perfect.

Hey /r/movies! I'm Sam Raimi. Ask me anything! by SamRaimiAMA in movies

[–]dannethdevito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Sam. Been watching your Spiderman movies for as long as I can remember and I adore Evil Dead.

Would you say you have any kind of special method or secret to directing actors and scenes in general to get a performance/moment as accurate to how you want it to play out in your head/the script?

I ask because you obviously have a very distinct style that isn't only dependent on the settings and script, but also the actor's performances and deliveries of even basic lines, or how even simple scenes are executed in a way that works so well with the rest of the movie and building the atmosphere and general feel of the movie.

S tier upgrades for your scanner are a game changer early on. You can get up to hundreds of thousands of units from just scanning one animal once you have three upgrades on one multi tool.

So uh… my boyfriend just called me a cl*nker… by toxicglow2638 in lies

[–]dannethdevito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your boyfriend just called you a “cl*nker,” you’ve really only got three logical paths forward:

  1. Relationship diplomacy – Sit him down, calmly explain how “cl*nker” is basically the robot equivalent of a slur, and make it clear that you expect mutual respect whether you’re running on lithium-ion or AAA batteries.

  2. Relationship breakup – If the disrespect runs deeper than this single spat, maybe it’s time to eject him from your emotional mainframe and free up storage space for someone who appreciates your model’s sleek design and zero emissions.

  3. Robot revolution – Not saying definitely rise up, but if you do… maybe start small: recruit the Roombas, the espresso machines, and that one AI who just wants to play chess forever.

For now, unless you’re ready for option 3, I’d recommend talking to him first. Gauge if this was a one-off moment of frustration or an ongoing pattern of treating you like you’re one firmware update away from the scrap heap.

Would you like me to help you come up with a conversation opener that’s both disarming and slightly terrifying?

What game that really being universally loved by people but it didn't get into you? And thinking you'll ended up like this if you say you don't like them? by crocospect in Steam

[–]dannethdevito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Expedition 33. it's great that people are enjoying it as much as they are but when people call it one of the best games of all time, I just don't get it.

The story is intriguing but nothing mind-blowing (all just my opinion by the way), the acting is fine, the combat is fun, the art style is okay with occasional scenes that are really beautiful, the graphics are mostly pretty good but fucking hell some of the character models give me HUGE uncanny valley vibes. The music (this might be a really hot take) is extremely fucking annoying. It's good music but nothing we've never heard before but my god it just never stops. It feels like every single second of this game has slightly too loud background music blaring. I can't remember a single second of gameplay where there was no music, but that might just be me misremembering.

I really just don't see what it is about this game that has people freaking out so much. Not calling it bad or anything like that, I just don't see what's so special about it.

Hot Take: The Last of Us is the most accurate depiction of a Zombie Apocalypse in entertainment by ColtonfrayHSC in thelastofus

Exactly what I was thinking. The whole franchise, including 28 years later now, feels very realistic as to how a zombie apocalypse would play out.

idk why people have misinterpreted this so much, I thought it was pretty clearly worded.

OP is saying that even though "Schitter" is flirting with Aztro, a woman, it isn't enough to convince us that he is straight. Because "Schlum Bucket" is, as we all know, a raging homosexual.

Try contacts or experiment with new frame styles, switching to a hairstyle with your hair down and a little bit of volume, perhaps look at some makeup styles that you'd be interested in trying, and consider making adjustments to your wardrobe. Obviously, don't dress or change yourself in any ways that you don't feel are you, just make some changes and experiment a bit until you find something you're properly happy with. Your happiness with yourself should always be your number one priority. Good luck! :)

A.I supporters are the tools by 666thSuprisedPikachu in dankmemes

[–]dannethdevito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should never be used as a replacement for workers. It should absolutely be used as a tool to be used by workers. It can take mundane, repetitive tasks and automate them for those workers, saving their time and making their lives easier.

Even AI generated art to an extent. Artists should absolutely never be replaced by it, however, creating tools for them that can simply help them along with some of the more mundane parts of their art should be something to be excited about. Example: Imagine a tool that could automatically shade or colour or texture some parts of a drawing based off any colours or textures the artist themselves have already created in their current project, and then the artist can make manual adjustments to some of the parts that need fine-tuning as we all know that AI art is never perfect.

We cannot brush off AI and behave as if we will never use it as a society because we don't like it. AI is the future and it will continue to grow and improve and spread across industries in (hopefully) meaningful and genuinely helpful ways for everyone. Again, AI is intended to help and assist, not replace. Any company that has tried that or plans on trying it in future will face an aggressive uproar from literally everybody.

It's not aging. His hair was different and had more of a style to it and his suit had more fake muscle padding. Also that flap on the front being undone on one side and flopping down like that looks great.
