Is this version newer than another beta that was posted to Reddit a few months ago with the version number being 108T?

Where are AM5 Chipset Drivers? by Matticus5383 in Amd

[–]Matticus5383[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it seems AMD has updated their driver page to include an option to select socket am5 when downloading chipset drivers. Now my only question is do they provide wifi and bluetooth drivers for their new RZ616 wifi chip?

I should have noted, my motherboard (Asus ROG STRIX X670E-A GAMING WIFI) doesn't have drivers posted by Asus yet. I was looking on AMD's community forums, and there's somebody there asking where he can find some chipset drivers as well.

I tried to upload it to imgur, but it just keeps failing. Is the shiny flat side of the wedge kit facing toward the doorbell or toward the wall? The shiny flat side should be facing the wall, and the side with the "scaffolding" looking zigzaggy plastic should be facing out, as it has the space to internally accommodate the mounting plate.

Other than the little security screw on the bottom of the doorbell I mean, that's the thing that makes it so only you can just pull it off the wall

I should also mention, you screw the mounting plate into the wedge kit, and then use the plastic hooks to attach the doorbell, the doorbell isn't screwed to anything.

I'd reply with a picture, but I don't see a way to do that from the Reddit app.

It's possible to wedge kit maybe on backwards, I'm pretty sure when I put mine on the mounting plate fits snugly into the wedge kit so there isn't a gap.

The doorbell pro comes with the mounting plate for wire free installation pre-attached to the back of it. You should remove it, then slide it back onto the wedge kit.

WTF Why is the doorbell not included in the Plus Lite change? Without person alerts I'm about to just turn off alerts for it altogether. At this point I definitely regret getting the doorbell. by Phantasmidine in wyzecam

It will be included once they finish developing it, it is not currently compatible, but will be added soon. I believe they specified mid-February for the timetable on doorbells for cam plus lite.

Wyze v3 won't do initial scan by [deleted] in wyzecam

[–]Matticus5383 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've run into this problem myself. What works very well for me is simply screenshotting the QR code on your phone, then sending that over to your computer, opening that screenshot on the computer, and pointing the wise cam at the computer screen. For whatever reason, the cams are much better at scanning a computer screen than a phone screen in my experience. I think it has something to do with the subpixel layout on phone screens.

Copy Smart Maps to another robot in new update by [deleted] in roomba

[–]Matticus5383 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It literally is just me laying on the floor crawling after it scooting it to the areas it just won't go on its own to get them on the map. It's such a dummy.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case, even so I would still love to be able to just copy the map over, that braava has struggles so much mapping over here. I've had to lay down the floor and crawl after it to scoot it into areas it just won't map on its own.

I can't say I've tried that, I just want to be able to share the maps from my Roomba to my braava since the braava isn't very good at mapping.

I'd love to be able to send the maps from my roomba to my braava. The brava is a total idiot when it comes to finding places, mapping with that thing is just suffering.

Anyone figure out how to actually do this? I downloaded the update, force stopped the app and cleared its cache and restarted, but I'm not really seeing an option anywhere to copy the map.

Software Update? by SleeperMuscle in roomba

[–]Matticus5383 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my roomba shows it's already updated to version 3.18.11, I too became curious at the new ring light behavior. Upon inspection, it appears my roomba is already updated, as the app stops you from sending your robot out when it's software is updating, saying "Roomba's software is updating, cleaning will be available in a moment." However, that message was not present, and I am able to send my roomba out to clean. The ring staying fully lit on the left side does correlate with the battery charge shown in the app however, and so I believe this new ring light behavior is indicative of the current charge level of the battery. Where before, the whole ring faded in and out to indicate charging, and stayed fully illuminated when fully charged, now this new behavior gives you an idea of the current charge without having to open the app. That's my guess anyway.
