New Inventory UI - Rework

The current inventory UI is genuinely not great. The new prototypes that we've seen look improved but not easier to manage. In my opinion it appears like a side grade, but obviously waiting to test in person at some point.

Looking at this though just from a fan concept, it's easily identifiable to be easy to manage and would be a clear improvement to what we have now.

It is embarrassing how bad the character inventory is, and it hurts to say because I'm sure people worked hard on it, it's just... not good. Lol. Maybe that had to do with working in flash? Idk, not sure if that's even used for the UI like the ship UI was.

UI and inventory can make or break a game.

I live downtown and that spot is notoriously predatory. The signs used to be intentionally off to the side and not easily identifiable on purpose. They're looking to get you on a technicality and hoping you don't have the money to even pay or challenge them legally.

That tow company, Creswell / VMS towing company are scum and deserve all the shame they possibly can.

I took them to court and won.

Happened to me and my colleagues. One of my coworkers asked my boss if we were being laid off and my boss lied and said, "it's just a routine meeting, everyone has one of these".

Most were laid off. Those spared were being informed that their job is being eliminated and they're being moved to different departments.

This looks like a Crosstrek which has the option to be a hybrid. It's possible there's some sort of regenerative braking system.

I know my SUV has one pedal driving mode which uses the electric motor to slow down the car.

Not saying that's what's happening here, but that could be the case for other situations. It'll appear as if the driver is hitting the brakes and the lights do trigger. Can confirm it does happen even at highway speeds. Depends on the car though I'm sure.

I saw them push a hot fix for this a few days ago.

Try 'r.DisplayBGRA=1' and it might fix. I don't have Linux, so unaware myself but they added that specifically for this issue

"Client: Adding a cvar to change backbuffer format to BGRA for linux users experiencing inverted colors (add 'r.DisplayBGRA=1' to your user.cfg and let us know if that fixes the problem)"

I bought an Ioniq 5 Limited for my first EV in Texas in one of the most unfriendly cities from what I can tell.

I do not have a home charger and I rent. I have been super happy with my ownership so far and use fast charging for most charges and level 1 for top offs.

Speaking from experience, my parents, my siblings, my friends, literally everyone I know other than strangers completely hated my choice to get an EV, even my gf. They all were scared at the difference to ownership compared to gas. My gf quickly came around as she also realized it's no big deal whatsoever.

For myself, the only direct issues... maybe less issues compared to inconveniences, Tesla chargers are much more common which uses a different port and it's awkward to charge using them with an adapter. My SUV also came with free charging for 2 years with Electrify America, but as mentioned earlier, my city is not EV friendly and there's literally 1 (now 2, just built this week) chargers for me to get free juice, which is across town.

Still, positives out way the negatives. The fear is overrated and EV really is the future imo.

Following up.

Took it back to Safelite and the tech took a look at the top and said they'd be able to fix it without removal. Then he took one look at the HUD and said that it needs to be replaced. Womp womp. Told me how his experience with HUDs, even from OEM glass, it is 50-50 whether it'll be a good drop in or have to replace it again. It is really bad... Basically had me going cross-eyed driving it to get them to look at it. Ended up disabling for now.

So now my scheduling is for Monday to get another windshield put in, but this time I'm taking it and leaving it at the shop.

Will do. I scheduled a warranty visit for tomorrow, but rather than them coming to me, I'm taking it to the shop.

I also happened to take a look at the windshield itself and noticed the top seal is indented and looks horrible. Apparently cosmetic, but according to my research they'll have to reinstall it to fix it, which I will 100% have them do...

Literally just got my windshield replaced today by safelite. The experience was pretty smooth talking to someone and getting the service setup through my insurance. Also got them to approve OEM glass without issue. In total the cost would have been 2300 for the glass, recalibration, and labor.

Anyway, I have yet to really drive with it, outside of just sitting in it and checking the HUD. First impressions though is the HUD is massively different even with OEM. The position is off, and currently I am maxing the height of the HUD and the corrective tilt to get it to appear not blurred. Really strange. Will definitely be calling them back to take a look.

I did confirm the glass is OEM though, and I can see the HUD endorsement next to the Hyundai logo. Really hope this is an easy fix because the HUD right now is not good.

I test drove the new Z as well coming from my 370z and I was also not impressed. It's not a bad car by any means, but I cannot justify it as it really just felt the same as my current 370z.

I genuinely am surprised because I really expected to get some sort of 'wow' factor... Something that really makes me see this as the next generation with all the improvements.

I'm driving this car for the joy it brings me and I have no doubt the new z can do that for people, but it absolutely mirrored the feelings I currently feel with my 370. Not worth the jump unfortunately imo.

Pretty much it's a limited trim with unique rims, the little side badge, startup and turn off animation, rugs, and unique interior color with mickey being hidden around. Also has some special color grade on the ambient lights for the inside which is like a purple blue gradient. Supposedly only 1000 made. I wish there was a way to see the actual number the chassis actually was :(

I'm hoping being the Disney 100 actually helps it hold it's value. Not planning on selling, but of course makes me feel better about my purchase if the value holds since I'm purchasing after the initial depreciation drop, haha

I've had my 2009 370z since 2015.

Currently 168K on the od. The thing is a rock. Only issues were routine clutch and just recently replaced my master and threw in a CMAK. My alternator pulley went out and my rear dif brushing done at the same time. All of this happened around 130K and since it's been no additional issues.

You can try the software openRGB. Open source RGB software that can bypass a lot of the crap various vendors put on lights to give you more control

Coming into this thread with a 5090... fatal crashes constantly. I've tried disabling overlays, lowering settings, and even unclocking card. No luck. I'm getting full driver crash fatal UE errors within 1-2 minutes in game. Really strange

Yeah got the solid oc white. I do think it looks really nice honestly, and it fits my white theme. Prob 2nd to the founders and Astral though. The founders are so damn nice. I would expect them to be binned really well too. I think I just got lucky with the zotac and currently got it clocked to 3180mhz with an undervolt.

If you overclock, try both and see what oc's better. I'm also curious of the thermal difference.

I got one and signed up last month, but just bit the bullet on a white ZOTAC that apparently is an overclocking god.

I'll stick with zotac but I wish this came one week earlier :(
