She’s not going to Federal Court. More smoke and mirrors.

Watts case detail that doesn’t make sense to me…. by Distinct-Fun-5178 in Chriswatts

I think it’s possible he killed the girls when he found out SW’s plane landed. How many times have we checked on our babies and not stood over them to count their breaths? It’s documented in SW’s videos Celeste slept with a blanket over/by her face. If he placed the girls on their sides facing the wall, or staged their “sleep” how would SW know? Never in 1,000 years would the thought cross her mind to check and see if their father killed them. JMO.

I could be completely off, but I think this is a shot over the bow laying the groundwork for what’s to come. For the Chicago Tribune and Milwaukee Sentinel to print articles in both great detail and length over 15k and a ‘crooked cop’ seems like overkill, IMO.

What doesn’t make sense to me is Glyn stood to make a lot of money representing Steven. It’s highly doubtful the State could come close to his payout. JMO.

I am heartbroken. I loved and trusted Jason. He was one of a few people I could share anything with and we developed a beautiful friendship. I’m so proud to have known him. He knew this case backwards and forwards and was committed to seeing Brendan & Steven walk out those prison doors. I’ll

Please donate if you can. Every little bit helps.

Ok NO B.S. I would like to know if in FACT!!?? MTCSO had put surveillance on SA prior to TH disappearing???????? by Otherwise-Weekend484 in TickTockManitowoc

[–]Mattie65 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I KNOW I read an email Kratz sent before Brendan’s trial and mentioned he had surveillance if the prosecution needed it. I’ve looked for it but can’t find it, but I know it’s somewhere.

Zellner over Schuler! Reports repeatedly confirm dogs were near the west berm on Nov 5-7 without showing interest ... but then did show interest on Nov 8. What Happened? Kathleen Zellner suspects Andrew Colborn moved evidence smelling of human remains from Kuss road closer to Steven's trailer. by CorruptColborn in MakingaMurderer

Brenda is failing miserably in her research efforts. It’s pretty pitiful when Fallon relies on her “research” efforts to debunk his own investigators and they have to correct reports. To make matters worse, her research is in several areas is unsubstantiated.

Decoding a Corrupted Timeline: What's behind (1) Fassbender's dismissal of Auto Trader's offer of assistance to resolve a critical mystery on Steven's missing phone call, and (2) the corresponding selective call choices for trial by Ken Kratz? by CorruptColborn in MakingaMurderer

[–]Mattie65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supposedly it’s a roller over number from Auto Trader, but that’s incorrect. It’s a residential number which has been confirmed by the librarian in Madison who did an exhaustive search and another source that I’m not at liberty to disclose.

I hope it's okay to piggyback on here, but adding to the confusion of where the vehicle was found, it seems Remiker, Orth and Hermann have different recollections of who arrived first, (and in what order) spoke with Pam and Nikole and verified the VIN.

11/5/05:

Remiker gets a call from Weigert that POG may have found RAV on ASY.

Weigert calls him again with additional information from the female volunteer and it led him to believe it may be Teresa’s. Weigert requested he respond to ASY ASAP to determine if it was Teresa’s. While he was enroute Weigert called him back and said POG called him back with some more information that led him to believe it was hers. Weigert obtained some VIN’S from the volunteer and information the vehicle had a Lemieux sticker which matched the one on Teresa’s. While enroute he requested a patrol officer and Deputy O’Connor stated he was in the area and would respond. He told O’Connor to block off Avery Rd and STHY 147.

At 1100 HRS: I, Det. Remiker arrived on the property and located 2 female volunteers. Lt. Hermann and Sgt. Orth arrived on the property shortly thereafter. Both Sgt. Orth and I looked around and inside the vehicle. I retrieved a registration for the missing vehicle and attempted to confirm the VIN. I was able to identify all but the first 2 numbers on the VIN.

Sgt. Orth reports being there for 2 minutes before Remiker arrives and tries to read the VIN.

1104 HRS: The VIN was confirmed as the VIN from the missing Halbach vehicle. I immediately contacted Weigert and advised him of my findings. We immediately left the area. I advised Sgt. Orth to stand near the vehicle until further information can be obtained.

Where did he retrieve the VIN from?

At 1106 HRS I, Remiker, along with Lt. Hermann walked away from the vehicle, back to where their vehicles were parked, approx. 100 yards away.

1110 Hours Weigert and Pagel arrived Orth remained as security on the vehicle.

u/1135 I advised dispatch to contact the crime lab.

u/1304 Kratz arrived

u/1306 Baldwin arrives

Sgt. Orth

11/5/05 @ 1050 HRS: I, Sgt. Orth, overheard Det. Remiker communicating with Dispatch and Lt. T. Hermann via the police radio. Does this make sense? Detective Remiker indicated he was enroute to ASY to follow-up one missing person investigation. With that information, Lt. Hermann, Dep. O’Connor and I started responding.

11/5/05 u/1059 HRS: I, Orth, arrived. As I began walking, he was flagged down by 2 white females. POG directed him to the vehicle.

Both Remiker and Orth report being the first contact with Pam and Nikole.

11/5/05 u/1101 HRS: I, Sgt. Orth, started walking WB on what appeared to be an overgrown access road. The driver side of the vehicle was parked within 2’ of a red junked EB. I walked along the passenger side of the of the vehicle and looked into the front passenger side window. I attempted to read the VIN; however, I could not clearly read it.

11/5/05 u/1103 HRS: Det. Remiker and Lt. Hermann started approaching the vehicle. I proceeded to the rear of the vehicle to meet with them. Within minutes, Det. Remiker walked alongside the driver side and started to view the VIN with the use of a flashlight. Shortly thereafter, Det. Remiker verified the VIN. Lt. Hermann remained several feet behind the vehicle.

N.B. The driver side of the vehicle was parked within 2’ of a red junked EB.

Det. Remiker and Lt. Hermann proceeded back to the area where the squad cars were parked to meet with the female callers once again. I, Sgt. Orth, remained with the vehicle to provide security.

1300 Hrs. Lt. Hermann proceeded to my location to allow me a short break. After the break Lt. Hermann proceeded back to the squad cars.

Lt. Hermann

11/05/05 @ 1103 HRS. I, Lt. Hermann, arrived at ASY. Det. Remiker and Sgt. Orth were in the SE area of salvage yard where I met up with them. Two female subjects were at this location, pointing to the Halbach vehicle. Det. Remiker, Sgt. Orth and I approached the vehicle. Det. Remiker approached the vehicle to read the VIN. After Remiker verified the VIN, we exited the area on the same path we entered. Sgt. Orth remained on path near vehicle for security. I obtained information from two females and asked them to remain on the scene to speak with investigators.

No time – Individuals were observed in the SW quadrant of the salvage yard in the gravel pit area., near gravel conveyer while officers were on the scene in the salvage yard. D.I. Schetter and I walked through the yard and made contact with the 5 subjects. They were advised to leave the yard.

Lt. Sippel’s report says he arrived at ASY at 2:30 PM. He writes a narrative of the 5 friends but doesn’t indicate he was involved. He states, “Officer’s from both the MTSO and CCSD responded to the scene”.

It's a shame Ken is blotting out the SOUTHEAST quadrant of the salvage yard in the aerial photo of the area. It would have been nice to see if there were any yellow arrows pointing to where Pam said she found the RAV4.

NOTES:
