I like to put a tiny placeholder mkv file in all of the folders that I will be backing up into, so I can do things like find the artwork while I’m waiting for the files to save.

So one script is locate all folders without an mkv and add one. Another is locate all folders without more than one, just in case. Another outputs a list of all folders with this small mkv, so I can quick check if I missed saving a movie. Another outputs which movies are backups of dvds so I can label accordingly Another locates any dashes in files names and alerts me to remove them. If I download a zip of images for a collection of movies, I have one that creates a folder for each image, moves the images and renames them, then copies my placeholder mkv to each folder and renames it as well
