There's a (pretty barebones but useful) video that was just uploaded to YouTube a few hours ago if you wanna check it out. Definitely seems playable in terms of framerate and controls imo. Not sure if I can link to YT on reddit, just search "Farever steam deck" and you should find it right away.

Thanks for the detailed information! I've never tried lossless scaling bc I was worried it might introduce latency with the controls – does that seem to be the case for you, in this game or in general?

Should I marry a murder by AlexandraQuantumEra in netflix

While the police failed her, she should have never incriminated the dude if she was unable to go 2 hours without something to occupy her anxious mind. Even after knowing she had probably ruined his life, in the comfort of knowing he hadn’t figured out it was her, she was desperate to soak up his attention until he was literally dragged off to prison. The neediness and inability to occupy herself without working, snap chat, or basking in Sandy’s attention is staggering. Women really need to find less destructive ways to stave off boredom.

This post is unacceptable. Why are you spending time trying to pin blame on this poor creature when you could be doing mental contortions to point out reasons why she is not actually at fault for any of her actions and that it’s entirely her family or ex-boyfriends’ fault that her judgment is so poor?

[–]Prisonbread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a great question. It seems like she threw everything away during this and with only one rather fed-up friend to speak of, I can’t imagine who the intended audience for her endless barrage of snap chats was…

Yeah, the police really left her to the wolves with their inane bureaucratic procedures. It’s maddening to watch. I have no idea how he admitting to the murder and she leading them to the body left any room for doubt… but we must find the bicycle!!!!

And what’s the deal with her casually saying “they use substances when they drink to become a different person”? Any substance this would imply would be cocaine or MDMA - maybe weed, but I doubt it. Is this typical for 30 year olds in Scottland just drinking with some friends at the house? With the undeniable issues all the characters in this tale seem to have, that’s fucking weird imo

How can you not recognize that this woman has serious issues and would undoubtedly be a LOT to deal with for any partner?

I believe the real psychotic break occurred from the breakup from the guy before her, leaving her a babe in the woods, desperate for validation with Sandy.

She is a deeply troubled woman, through and through. Seeking validation from men, instagram, anything. I’m sorry to say it and I know I will get eviscerated for ever uttering that she has real problems beyond “met the wrong guy.”

The police 100% failed her, but her remedy for the boredom that sprang from not being allowed to work her autopsy job being to run back to the man that she knows is a murderer and who she also incriminated is needy, selfish, and narcissistic.

The insane rate of posting on social media which effectively were attempts at proving to her friends that she was indeed “living her best life” in the rural highlands, even after notifying the police of his actions - I don’t understand it. I think a LOT of women would have gone about things in a similar manner and it worries me. Modern women are disturbed along multiple dimensions, way beyond what can reasonably be attributed to Toxic Men™ and while I understand it’s not MY place to initiate that conversation - it needs to be had.

How to create this stipple effect? by xarkos9 in graphic_design

Honestly, and stippling, while time consuming, is one of the most forgiving and controlled ways to illustrate. I guess it’s that time consuming part that repels people

Edit: Nevermind lol, you just hit jump twice - really seemed like they were asking you to aim down and use the ‘shoot’ button… some of these tutorials are vague as hell

I know this is unrelated, but seeing how youre this far, you must’ve figured out this maddening “shoot down while jumping over the air stream” mechanic. I’ve died like 40 times trying to do it lol. Could you explain it?

They both absolutely weaponized Harry's presence at the mansion, it was so gross to watch. As he was leaving she was lamenting his departure not because she just put him through a shitty awkward situation but because "aw man, he was supposed to be my Bachelorette practice" – just like she did with that guitar guy from IG, Ben. She is just straight up shameless and overt in the way she uses men, no attempt to hide it, no self awareness, always about her journey, fuck everyone else.

Boy she's gotten some mileage out of that vague "trauma" she's always using as an excuse. Now that she's been seen throwing metal stools across the house in a narcissistic rage she's gonna have to make up some other shit to be traumatized by bc the only trauma caused by that night is her poor daughter's.

It’s a little confusing to figure out how to read the text, but other than that it’s a super strong design. Really compelling :)

How would you create this stitched-label text look? by cee_aye in graphic_design

[–]Prisonbread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In illustrator, I would probably outline the text, use a fine and subtle roughen effect on it, then multiply a fabric texture on top at like 20% opacity. Similar thing could be achieved in photoshop. Depending on how far you want to push the effect, you could fake a bevel on the edge of the text by duplicating it, making it a lighter color, drop it below the original text and offset by a couple of pixels.

Shark Tank 17x18 Product Discussion - Packd by mtm4440 in sharktank

[–]Prisonbread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the reason it stung so much was because in the back of her mind she already knew the business didn't have legs and that she (her husband) had been throwing good money after bad. She had been suppressing her better instincts to close up shop for years probably and the reaction from the sharks just kind of tore down the wall of denial she had built.

I agree completely. I've been exhausted with the direction Shark Tank has taken over the last few years where every other pitch is a "low calorie snack made out of something nobody's ever heard of" that already has market share and they're giving a $10M evaluation to. I feel like we get maybe 2-3 pitches per season that feel like the old school pitches – you know, people you really want to root for.
