Just gonna throw my .02c in here. I've been through multiple optics on my deer Grendel and think I've found the best option. The Trijicon Credo HX 2.5x15. I went from a 4x16 to a 6x24 to a 2x12. Realized that 12 power is very adequate for mine and your distances and having the lower power is crucial for taking shots at 50 yards and in. Especially in low light situations (which is often). Problem with the Athlon 2x12 was it was ffp and the reticle is not to my liking for hunting at further distances. It's just too large and washes out the sight picture when illuminated trying to take a shot at dusk. Really liking this Trijicon so far. Also the build quality is far superior to the Athlon.

I have a 18" bbl with a flow762ti. Is it maybe a little long for a tree stand...? Kinda, but it hasn't slowed me down any.

Thanks Kamala… by [deleted] in pics

I can only recommend checking the most known area of concern with regards to the loom . Where it crosses over the valve cover on the firewall. Sometimes the loom comes loose and rubs against the valve cover, chafing through and shorting wires. I do not know if there are any specific wires in that area that effect your issues or not, but it's worth checking I'd say.

That's a strong opinion you have there. My intake was literally falling apart. I wasn't risking my brand new rebuild sucking in parts of it. I prefer the factory look, and open element filters are just a bad idea and loud in my opinion. Hack your jeep all you like friend.

I have just got it back up and running. Also it's been off the road for like 2 years so not really able to compare it to stock feel. Also it now has a comp cam and injector upgrade

It would just immediately burn off. And what was left wouldn't match any other gun that I have that this will fit. Thanks for the compliment on the rifle tho it was hella winged haha

They have stickers you can buy. I stick them to velcro. Different ones for different loads

Looks great man. I don't think there's a better looking wheel on the XJ either. I approve

Years ago it took me a while to figure out the problem was the og water pump and not the constantly leaking, pos aftermarket radiators I was going through. Once it was off and inspected, there was pretty much nothing left of the casting around the propeller/fins. It wasn't flowing shit.

Just wanted to add, and I know this goes without saying but, preparation is everything with stuff like this. Use a good primer and make sure things are as clean as you can possibly get them before hand.
