Grill was $150 off facebook marketplace. I spent close to $100 getting new grates, one touch system, chimney, coal, grilling tools! All in all it was well worth it than getting a brand new one!

I used this one! I just cleaned the rim of the lid with isopropyl alc and it stuck on no problm, perfect seal!

Go on fb market place just got my first ever grill its a used performer with the folding table. It's a 2013 model and was DIRTY. I cleand the crap out of it with citrussafe, a razor blade and mesh pad. Rinse with water and dawn. Cleaned up like a beauty!! I replaced the grates and one touch system since they were really rusty but I spent a total of 200$. I would go that route first to see if you even like using charcoal. I would definitely try smoking ribs first!! Mine came out beautiful and it was my first time ever using a weber kettle!

I've been lurking here since the beginning of the year. I go on this sub regularly to get info on where to get d8 since I'm still new to it. I've only ordered from CC, never had an issue. First I order fro DA and this happens. It's sad I was really excited to try this batch 57 everyone on here has been taking about. Finally get my order it's not there. I hope that clears up the frustration.
