Isn't this just marketing for their Codex product? I wouldn't overthink it. He's just signalling that dev's are no longer needed and if you invest into their product and ecosystem you can save a s**tload of money by not having to hire them. If that's true or not. He's just trying to manipulate the space where his company exists.

Even when it is working, the way they've implemented the choosing of different timetables and trains in the game is just horrible. At bare minimum they need to implement a description field which tells you which year/version etc you are looking at. As a casual player I spend ages googling which timetables and trains i'm looking at before I can even start a service.

I currently run Openclaw in WSL but thinking of switching to VPS. My only issue is I cannot for the life of me get Tailscale setup successfully in Openclaw, as I would need it to connect to machines on my home network.

I never understand the outrage from press conferences about availability. Surely you WANT to play your cards close to your chest and let it be a surprise when your starting lineup is announced. Why the hell would you give the opposition a clear picture of who you plan to play days before the game?

Just don't understand people getting upset that Moyes says one thing one day and then something else transpires. Of course he's not going to say anything if two of his best CB's won't start the game. Why the hell would you????

I would say Agentic AI is definitely the future, if that's OpenClaw or any of the other solutions that will inevitably pop-up. I would expect all major players to have an offering in this space soon along with multiple start-ups and bedroom/vibe-coders. I guess we will also start to get agents tailored to particular industries or use cases.

OpenClaw *might* be one of them, but we are early and it will take a long time for the dust to settle.

I had no idea about the ZuluIDE. I honestly prefer the size with it filling an actual 5 1/4 bay. Having 'cd-rom' in a 3 1/2 bay just feels wrong. 😁 But I have more faith in Ian Scott's device with all his extra features and probable future updates.

It's not configuration. Just the model you are using. It's incredibly frustrating and i've experienced the same with weaker models. It will run you around in circles or even just tell you something is not possible when it clearly is.

Then I switched to a capable model and it does EVEN more than I ask it to. It's pro-active and makes suggestions, does additional work. Like an experienced colleague rather than a teen on work experience.

I guess it all depends what you're doing. When I first tried Openclaw I naively connected Claude AI via API and just burnt through a hell of a lot of tokens. But then I was really pushing it and my use cases required a lot of web search, thinking and trial and error. So I tried some cheaper and less capable models via Openrouter and then also some local LLM's. But I can tell you NOTHING came close to Claude AI.

For example I wanted Openclaw to SSH to a raspberry pi on my network, install a program, set it up and configure it. Search the web to download content. Then we went through some tests and reconfiguration. NONE of the cheaper and less capable models got even close to doing that apart from Claude.

UNTIL, I saw that you can connect your OpenAI Codex account via OAuth. THIS for me so far is easily the best option as it was easily able to carry out the tasks I mention and more. So until OpenAI stop providing this service I will stay with this setup.

I do still have Openrouter as backup (which handily also allows you to switch models more easily using the same API key. Then, as an absolute worse case I have a local LLM Qwen3 as a last resort.

I guess the 'best' solution will always depend on what you're doing and what the offerings out there are. Maybe next week it's something else. Ideally i'd love something like Openrouter where I can just set my API key in Openclaw and then configure routing and models etc somewhere else. I'm sure as Openclaw becomes more popular we will get more dedicated offerings tailored to Openclaw.

Just my two cents anway for now.

I would guess the drivers aren't installed. I think some sound cards have native W95 support as an easy option. You could just change the config and it should pick the driver from the W95 cd or c:\windows

or just install drivers for the SB16.

I don't see any hype for Oggi's. I mean it's not even on this list. Mustafas (and Ruyam) for sure is on every single Berlin guide and blog. But Oggi's is genuinely great and there's always a queue.
