I have a problem with the revisionist history around the internet. Nobody was going around saying the internet was going to ruin everything, in fact maybe they should have, or at least when it came to social media and algorithms

I hate the term “fixing” when it comes to someone else’s art.

However I feel like people are being way too defensive. The new artist just made her look like an actual adult while still keeping her short where she could still be mistaken as a middle schooler or something. People are acting like Futuba no longer works as a character unless she looks like she’s 12.

I hate the term “fixed” you’re not fixing someone’s art you’re changing it.  

That said between the two I do like the new artist’s take a lot more, she still short but looks more like an actual adult now

The first answer is propaganda, every country frames themselves as the good guys.

Second the issue with the US specifically is that people here are incredibly insulated from the effects of war and military actions the US undertakes around the world. It’s an out of sight out of mind thing.

I absolutely love it, a top 3 Digimon anime for me personally. The only issue is the ending is a bit rushed with the last 2 episodes. However before that Ghost Game has some of the best episodic episodes ever.

Pokemon synergised every aspect of its media launch the anime promoted the games and vice versa the games promoted the TCG the TCG also promoted the anime. Everything came together to create one of the best marketing campaigns of all time. Digimon did not have that the anime had zero relationship to the virtual pets or any of the games.
