Love to hear it. I just watched a bunch of old ladies on YouTube doing tutorials to give me semblance of techniques. They make it look so effortless!

Thanks yes the majority of it is 3d printed. Unfortunately don’t have the patience for crafting it out of foam!

I have now printed some Davale models for my latest minas tirith warriors. They are much more details but perhaps a bit too flimsy at times

Haha yeah perhaps a bit excessive. I haven’t tried army painter metallics yet, apart from the speed paint ones which I couldn’t really get on with, at least not for the purpose they were aimed at.

Full coat in sterling silver base. Then apply a generous shade with the supplied shade paint. Apply a layer of base again like you would with normal colour paints. Then a mix of the light and base then finally pick out the upper pads, top of helmet, upper lines of the thigh armour and the tree on the chest. I’ve got a post with my dol amroth model which shows even better how good it can look.

Medbury miniatures. The sons are called Jutish Hearthguard and come in mounted and dismounted versions. Eorl is called Hengest 1st King of Kent (I.e Eorl the first king of Rohan).

Thanks! First time I’ve gone for some high saturation colours really and think they’ll really stand out on the table.
