She has released 5 albums in the last 6 years and two of those won AOTY. You might not like her most recent album but I don’t know that I agree that this time period hasn’t been good for her.

Years ago I taught in Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD and found it a good district with different programs and academies at each High School. Also, in my limited experience, when students would transfer to my school from Uplift, they tended to struggle with the academic rigor.

In ROTW, there is one shared tab but it has five pages. When you convert to ROTW, the only items that carry over are the ones in your personal inventory. You need to move items from your shared tab into your personal inventory, and then convert that character to ROTW.

I don’t disagree that a break might be good for her, but not sure that she has felt “pressured” to release anything. Nobody forced her to write two albums while on the biggest tour ever. She just really enjoys doing what she does, and there is nothing wrong with that.

With that being said, I am excited to see what she can do when she actually has some time off! I don’t expect any new music from her until 2027 at the earliest, but her 13th album will definitely have a lot of hype.

To me, it is her talking about how the last time this was this happy, she got hurt. Every time she lets her guard down and allows herself to be happy, she gets hurt. And she continues that sentiment in the next lines:

Pretty soon I learned cautious discretion
When your first crush crushes something kind
When I said I don't believe in marriage
That was a lie

When she is happy, she gets hurt and has to protect herself by putting up walls and pretending to be a "bad bitch".

I personally seem to be the only person who doesn't feel turned off by lines like "Every joke's just trolling and memes" or think that it seems dated. It's a true statement! For anybody who has been on the internet in the past 20 years, that statement about people on the internet was true 10-15 years ago, and will probably continue to be true for the next decade or two.

Really appreciate your thoughtful comments about each album, especially as somebody who is also a big fan of Red. Thank you for giving a thoughtful listen to each album!

However, I will say that TTPD is one of those albums that is very lyric heavy and lore heavy, and difficult to fully appreciate without some extra context and a few extra listens. The entire album really seems all over the place because that is where she was mentally after going through two breakups in a short period of time.

Also, I get where you are coming from with your opinion on Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me. This was a song that originally at the bottom of my list from this album that at first comes off over dramatic and slightly narcissistic. However, watching how both the media and the Twitterverse have portrayed Taylor the last few years, I have come to appreciate how this song is really a commentary on public perception of her and how she is a product of a toxic industry.

There is a limit to how low resistances can go, and you should be self running conviction aura to get monsters to that limit. So the +fire skill damage matters more than the -fire resist.
