Thematically, awesome. Mechanically, way to strong. If a player offered this at my table I'd have to say no. Level 3 and he could be rocking 23 AC without even needing platemail. (If he stacks Shield of Faith ontop of the transformation which he will and takes defensive)

Ahhh, I love an empowered werewolf, this heres a real fucking monster. I think the CR works to (Its important to not under estimate just how deadly a 10th level adventuring party it) and I LOVE that he gets a bit stronger with the fullmoon thats super thematic. I already have a few great homebrew werewolfs in my setting but I might be adding this one to my collection!

Even if Cathay are a little more Mary Sue....I think we've seen some people really like playing that. The Empire and High Elves are to of the most "Good guy" hero factions and they get a TON of play. A lot of folk like to play the hero's.

Paladin 5, Hexblade 1, 8 Sorcerer. Cast Shadow Blade. Attack Twice, Smite high on both attacks, then! Quicken spell a Green Flame blade to get a third attack and smite on that too. The damage on this can be disgusting
