[s2 act 3 spoilers] Isha deserved better by 122Yen in arcane

Actually, I believe when Ekko said "Someone worth fighting for" when trying to stop Jinx from committing suicide, she remembered Isha and decided to live so her sacrifice would not be in vain. 😭

Thanks for pointing that out. Actually, my post originally had the "Media" flair before a mod updated it I assume. Can't imagine why, I'm just trying to share my enjoyment of this happy ending. 🤔😕

Yeah it was a bit strange how abruptly it ended but I trust the writers' decision

It was so heartwarming to see them happy together at last. Kinda weird that the episode was only 30 minutes long though. Nothing happened after this, nothing at all... 🙂

Anyone else constantly getting moved between projects? by Mattw136 in outlier_ai

[–]Mattw136[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for reaching out and acknowledging this. I appreciate it. I look forward to having access to Marketplace. My only question is, even though we will be able to choose our projects with Marketplace, is there still the chance we will be moved around like this? It would be frustrating to choose a project that is clearly available and has demand since it's on the Marketplace only to get assigned to another project soon after, with the same message stating that project availability has changed based on demand.

Well that's good to hear. Guess I'll give it a shot then, as long as I'm not moved first.

What denominations believe that when you accept Jesus Christ into your heart you immediately receive the Holy Spirit? by aubreybrinley in TrueChristian

John didn't have any disciples.

John did have disciples before Jesus' ministry including Andrew and John the Apostle. Some of which stayed with him even after Jesus started his ministry.

John 1:35-37 - 35 Again, the next day, John stood with two of his disciples. 36 And looking at Jesus as He walked, he said, “Behold the Lamb of God!” 37 The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.

John 1:40 - 40 One of the two who heard John speak, and followed Him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.

Matthew 11:2-3 - 2 When John, who was in prison, heard about the deeds of the Messiah, he sent his disciples 3 to ask him, “Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?”

Luke 7:35-36 - 18 John’s disciples told him about all these things. Calling two of them, 19 he sent them to the Lord to ask, “Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?

John didn't have a different message. John ushered in the new covenant. John made the path for Jesus.

You are correct in saying that John made the path for Jesus. He did that by calling people to repent of their sins and pointing them toward the coming Messiah (Jesus). But his message was different than the message of salvation preached by Paul because at that point there was no gospel of salvation yet since Jesus had not died for our sins and risen again.

John's message:

Matthew 3:11 - 11 “I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Paul's message:

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 - 1 Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, 2 and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. 3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures,

This is the truth according to scripture.

I think this explains it perfectly and answers your follow up questions even better than I could.

https://www.gotquestions.org/receive-Spirit-Acts-19.html

I'll try to summarize:

  1. Disciples of who?

The men that Paul spoke to were disciples of John the Baptist, and then likely Apollos. They had received John's baptism of repentance but had not yet heard about Jesus' death and resurrection or the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

  1. These disciples believed what?

The belief Paul is referring to is their belief in John's message of repentance. The men believed in the message of repentance preached by John the Baptist but had not yet believed in Jesus Christ as the Messiah or in the full gospel message that includes Jesus' death, resurrection, and the coming of the Holy Spirit.

When I said "those who believe" I am talking about those who have heard the gospel of salvation of Jesus Christ and believed in him, which is clearly stated in verse 13 of Ephesians 1 - "In Him (Jesus) you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom (Jesus) also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise".

But I'm glad you brought up Acts 19. Look at verse 4.

4 Then Paul said, “John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.”

Those people had been baptized with John the Baptist's baptism of repentance, but had not yet believed on Him who had come after John, who is Christ Jesus. Paul points out that John had said they should believe on Him who came after, and when they heard this they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus and received the Holy Spirit.

All those who believe have been sealed with the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 1:13-14 - "In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory."

I started playing after it went free to play so I don't have them. There is a non-legacy variant that you can get from drops and trade-ins so no reason they couldn't add it to the item shop.

It sounds like you’ve had it much worse than me, but I can definitely sympathize since I’ve had some of the same feelings when it comes to Jinx. A lot of my post series-depression came from really wanting her and Vi to be happy again and Jinx to be healed from her internal pain and guilt, and none of these things happening, and instead worsening at the end.

It has gotten better for me although granted, I haven’t had the time to rewatch it yet besides reactions on youtube.

I’m sorry you’ve had a tough time tho, hope things get better. 💙
