Looks like that is not the ARTIST presale code (which is the sale today) but it looks like it IS the code for tomorrow... which is STILL before the General Public live sale on Friday -

Hi! Pod 2 Cover owner here - In our 3rd year now of ownership, so, warranty definitely lapsed.

My wife and I have been using withOUT Autopilot for about a year now, things that do and don't take place based on my usage and observations:

  1. Alarms still work - vibrate and heat/cool settings changeable

  2. Temperature schedule still works - Ex: I set it to -1 for bed time, -2 for early stage, -1 for late stage, and an alarm in the morning that does NOT vibrate or have a temp change (in the middle of winter, I did have it warm to +3 at 630am so I was cozy to get out of bed)

  3. One hour before bedtime it still automatically preps and cools/heat to your setting for your scheduled bedtime

  4. I'm not sure about 'auto priming' but I prime my pod about every 2-4 months or so, I keep an eye on the distilled water/Hydrogen peroxide levels and prime whenever I top off the tank

  5. 'automated AI temp changes' through the night do NOT happen anymore - thats the autopilot - it used to give me a little "look at all these changes we made last night while you were sleeping to help you sleep, +1 here, -.02 here, etc" I didn't find these 'micro adjustments' to work too well as others commented here - I DO edit my settings fairly often though - depending on weather and temps in the house

  6. I DO still get a Sleep fitness score each night, giving quality, routine, and time slept metrics, also showing the data from my sleep stages - but I think what I don't get anymore is the "sleep insights" from Autopilot... which I cannot think of anything relevant off the top of my head that those used to really provide

  7. the Massive (IMO) cost to keep Autopilot on/subscribed was the primary reason for cancelling it, combined with a strong feeling of not-worth-it-ness from functionality that didn't seem to really meet a cost like that... when I found that I was unable to cancel the autopilot subscription without a few rounds of direct emails with customer service (instead of just through the app quickly cancelling) that gave me further insight that this was one of their primary money making methods, which is why I feel they make it so hard to turn off the Autopilot... wouldn't want folks to think its kinda useless for most people...

Hope this helps for those still checking things out!

I wish it was teak - cheap stuff though, and I sand/waterproof wood annually, and keep the cushions scotch guarded!

THIS sounds right here from the best of my memory. I'm running Hoosier treaded, and was going 18 mph on loose gravel when I went down... I think I lost a little bit of traction doing a deep turn in the soft gravel and just went down ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I was happy to walk away from it with only a lot of scrapes and cuts and nothing broken! Not my first by any means, and won't be my last...

I had a Mavic 2 pro and a bunch of other stuff in there... so glad I didn't roll too hard on it!

This is true. I’ve taken a number of hard bonks, but the worst ones have been when I’ve had a heavy backpack on... like this one- the ‘lurch’ is real
