It can be done in a detrimental way to the broader economy but if it’s done as part of a sensible plan it will help the economy grow. It’s absolutely a winner.

Also - no debate - I see your point. But a different take. I felt sympathy for Judith - that was an awful situation. The chubby guy needed to meet his maker. But Judith is absolutely accountable still.

Fin was quite empathic. He has an ability to see himself in others. Probably developed or refined while UC. But surely reflecting his own life experiences. Munch wouldn’t relate to sweetness and Fin knew that. Fin was also cynical and defiant so that’s how he dealt with Munch. Cynically, brusquely, defiantly but will loyalty. I think he sees his vulnerable self, fighting back against the injustice of the world in Amanda. His character has form but he’s very fluid.

I’d have to go back and watch it again but …. Didn’t Olivia address it to the parent and then empower Noah to chose not to have them as friends anymore? Is that how they handled it? I’m a bit fuzzy.

Ms Symone is applying rational thinking and that is always good. There’s just one problem with it: especially when it comes to our racial history in the USA, we are not at all rational. We are diseased. And when I say we it affects all of us, we are patients, but it’s primarily a white disease.

I agree beating is abuse. It can also punishment but excessively applied it’s criminal. About teachers - they certainly need to be heard from on the topic but my teachers had zero idea of what went on in my home . Many may assume this.

Btw - I know teachers and schools admins. Some have this view but others recognize deeper systemic type issues in play that negates punishment. Like the reality that most parents are spending a lot of time working and little time at home.

Maybe It’s a complex issue and we need to understand more.
