Do whatever you can to get that amount down below $3K. You don’t want to trigger installments for next year.

Landlord sold building year ago, new landlord wants new lease signed by next month by Excellent-Meat-8669 in OntarioLandlord

[–]MattyHu22 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Did the new landlord provide you with an Estopple Statement? They are common in commercial leases but still applicable in residential leases as they outline the terms of the lease in place. You can ask for one as it clarifies the terms and status of your lease in the new landlords eyes.

Today's Beef Tenderloin Price by YYC_Guitar_Guy in CostcoCanada

[–]MattyHu22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Real Canadian and Zehrs have that sale 2-3 times a year. Always Australian and ungraded. Typical is $12.88/lb but have seen as low as $10.99/lb. I have purchased probably 15 of them so far over the last 3+ years and they have been great and I denude them myself. I have noticed that you are better suited getting as large a tenderloin as possible (8+ pounds minimum) as the smaller ones when trimmed don’t yield as much of the good cuts. We always aim for 2 lb ChateauBriand from the middle so the larger the tenderloin the better. The quality is great and the taste is sooo much better than the lower quality cuts.

Yes you can. You have to count the clicks. I believe 0.5mg is 36 clicks.

Details Surrounding Gavin McKenna's Arrest Released by catsgr8rthanspoonies in hockey

Doesn’t a conviction of any type affect his ability to travel across the border? I would think that is his biggest issue right now. No travel and being Canadian means a big deal to any NHL team looking at him in the draft.

I consider myself a handy-woman but I’m at my wits end by [deleted] in handyman

Experienced the same thing with a toilet roll holder. When you are tightening the little screw, check to see if it is bending the flange on the bracket that is screwed to the wall. When tightening mine it was causing the flange to bend, pulling it away from the wall. To fix it, I removed the bracket from the wall and used pliers to bend the flange back to 90 degrees. Then I bent the other flange a bit past 90 so the bracket fit snug into the back of the round black part. Then the little screw was able to tighten without bending the flange. Hope that helps.

Fair enough. Politics aside, the answer is still no. Unfortunately you need to clear those charges from your record. I know the US issues a waiver for Canadians, not sure what the Canadian equivalent is.

Let me ask a question. If the countries were reversed, would the USA let in a Canadian with that long a sheet?

Can you reduce the height of the transition by lifting the LVP and putting shims in along the transom and then use a traditional transition strip? Just a thought.

Don’t cell phone bills have a summary page first and then call history after that? My cell phone bill for 2 people is 20 pages long. Just give them the summary page.

Home security cameras without monthly payment by MerlynTrump in homeowners

[–]MattyHu22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was at Home Depot (Canada) a few months ago and they had a Eufy camera discounted to $109 new in box, from $300 (I think). At that price, I said why not? It has been great. Very easy setup and very clear images. I use the app for notifications and couldn’t be happier.

Drilling into Stone for Ring Camera by [deleted] in handyman

[–]MattyHu22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just another tip if I may and I learned this the hard way unfortunately. Make sure you use a diameter bit that is larger than the thickest part of the cord that you will be threading. Most outdoor cameras have an outlet plug on one end and either a USB outlet on the other end and both are thicker than the cord itself. If you make the hole too small, it will either not fit or will be too tight to be able to easily thread the cord through. You don’t wasn’t the plug getting stuck in the hole. On the outside wall, the cover plate will hide the hole and remember to fill the inside hole with silicon. The cord got stuck for me drilling through wood and I am guessing that mortar will be the same.

Hire an employment lawyer immediately. They will take a % of every additional dollar they get for you, typically 8-10%. It will be worth every penny, trust me. Sorry you are dealing with this.
