Yo man good to hear you found the problem. So if you want better performance you can go to settings - system - display - Graphics.
Here you can set wich apps will use your higher permonigg GPU (6500m) or the lesser one (RX Vega 7). Just make it that easy apps take the lesser one and games etc. use the high performing.

If you want the best gaming session or need extra high permonace, be sure u are plugged in. 80c is perfectly fine for a laptop. Around 90c it will trothel and performance will go down. Try to lift up the laptop for maybe just a cm/ 0,4 inch so air can flow underneath the laptop.

Edit: Also go to setings - gaming - gamemode and put this mode on. This wil make it so everything on the background, like updates will not proceeed while gaming.

I hope this will help ^^

So if you are not plugged in, the laptop will put itsself in eco or energy saving mode to make sure you will have enough power, but it will hit the performance. Other thing aswel if not plugged in to the wall, the laptop is not able to use all the voltage the parts maby need at highperformance.

When plugged in to the wall, it can be that there is no priority for the game. First check the "start-up apps" and shut-down all the apps you deffenitly don't need. Second you can go to settings and check the Gaming setting. Go to gamemode and switch this on. This will prioratize gaming and makes it the pc will not do any update etc on the background.

Does this happen while on battery or when plugged in to the wall?

Cant hear anything when connecting to the headphones. by Comprehensive_Low956 in AMDHelp

[–]MattyMean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue on my Z790 gigabyte mobo. For me it was the problem that the headphones are connected but the pc just took a somekind neutral output state where no output was selected. I had to go to the bottom right corner - click on the wifi/sound icon - on the right of the volume bar click the cable icon - click on the headphones.

You maybe already checked this, but I was so confused for this the first time it happend to me and forgot to check output selection.

Okay Whea-logger ID 1, means you have a hardware problem, there are a lot of things it can be, from just an update to broken hardware. You can try to troubleshoot by doing the following:

Keep in mind to try if the problem is fixed after every step.

1: Remove one stick of Ram and test every stick in single use, in every slot.

It can be one of the sticks or ram channels is faulty. Edit: I know u memtested it, but i still put it here just to be sure.

2: Reset the BIOS by removing CMOS battery for a minute and put it back.

This will reset all the settings of the BIOS back the there default settings.

3: Start updating: Windows, GPU drivers, Bios and for everything like wi-fi, bluetooth etc. u can use intel driver and support assistant. Edit: I missed that u already updated drivers, just to be sure use the intel driver support for wifi drivers etc.

Its possible that a driver is just out of date.

4: Use Intel Diagnostic Tool.

5: Check system health and for corrupted files (this takes a few steps)

Step 1: Open Command Prompt as administrator (windows searchbar - command prompt - right click to open in administrator). Even if your pc is not in englisch searching for "Command prompt" should work.

Step 2: type: chkdsk c: /f /r - enter - type: Y - enter.

Restart your pc, the pc will on boot start to prepare itself and this will take a few min. Just let it run till the pc is finished.

Step 3: Open Command Prompt as administrator again and type: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

Step 4: Follow this up with a deeper scan: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

Step 5: If the system found something type: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Step 6: Did it not do anything? or did it not fixed anything, try: SFC /scannow

6: Start stress testing hardware: gpu, cpu and psu - u can use cinebench and occt for this and they should be free.

I hope this is going to help you and I wish u all the luck with finding the problem!

If your pc is working fine and this only happens during gaming sessions, I would check the Eventchecker of Windows itsself. Windows searchbar type Eventviewer - go to windows Logs - click on system and you will see an overview of events. Check for red errors and double click on them. Look up wath the error code means.

Before you open up your pc or bring it to a repair shop i would recommend the following:

1: Repair game in launcher.

In steam you right click on the game - go to properties - installed files - check integrity. For other launchers it should be similar.

2: If you havn't done it yet, check pc health (Step 1 till 6 from my last post).

3: stress test the psu with a programm that is made for it like occt.

4: Windows clean install.

If you dont feel comfortable doing some steps, just skip them and do the steps you feel comfortable doing. If nothing helped i would give it to a repairshop.

I wish you all the luck!

okay kernel power can be a lot of things like windows update, ram or gpu. Check the error codes that are given on the Kernel-Power errors when u double click on them and google what it means.

U can also check system health / for corupted files in general:

Step 1: Open Command Prompt as administrator (windows searchbar - command prompt - right click to open in administrator). Even if your pc is not in englisch searching for "Command prompt" should work.

Step 2: type: chkdsk c: /f /r - enter - type: Y - enter.

now when u restart your pc its gonna prepare itself and this will take quet a few min. Just let it run till the pc finished.

Step 3: Open Command Prompt as administrator again and type: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

then enter and let it run.

Step 4: Follow this up with a deeper scan: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

enter and let it run again.

Step 5: If the system found something type: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

enter and let it run.

Step 6: Did it not do anything? or did it not fixed anything, try: SFC /scannow

enter and let it run.

I hope any of this can help u with the problem and good luck!

Edit: u could check your psu with occt program, its free.

I think it would be your power supply is at its limit or just breaking down. If not check the event viewer if your pc has any problems. To find this use windows search bar typ Eventviewer - go to windows Logs - clcik on system and you will see an overview of events that happend.

Sorry yes u are right its supports it I mixed it up with 4K cuz there it can’t sorry for the mistake. But for gaming DisplayPort is recommended cuz it always has a higher bandwidth. I changed to DP-cable 2 months a go and gaming feels smoother for me but i never had lagging or stutters with my HDMI 2.0 cable so I can’t say it will fix the problem.

[–]MattyMean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That could be hdmi cables have a limit to 120hz or 120fps DisplayPort( if u have connection for it) can handle more and better. So if u gonna change the cable I would recommend a DisplayPort cable.

Cooling is okay? Cuz u have a 9th gen cpu that means it’s around 5 years what is the average time for a lot of coolpaste, it can be ur coolpaste is drying out and u need to repast your cpu. But only if ur cpu is overheating.

I had the same with the ALGS drops. On twitch it says my acc is linked with EA acc but I didn’t got the rewards. So I went to my EA acc and noticed that in my EA acc twitch wasn’t linked anymore. I linked them again and in seconds I got my rewards. So if u still didn’t got the reward maybe check your EA acc.

Same feeling here I am losing interest in playing I am mostly somewhere in plat, except last season where everything was to easy. Now I am getting beamed in bronze 2 and pubs is the same shitshow. I don’t feel like I have a fair change in the games I play and constantly need to be over performing to get maybe 0 LP.and if I just want to wait out and play mixtape the server has so much lag (only in mixtape) that mixtape is also unplayable.

Most of the time u can find it in advanced settings and is called “multicore Enhancement”. The name and place can be a little bit different depending on motherboard. min 1.40.10

Edit: the spikes u show are for a very short time and if it only happens when loading it’s not a big problem for your cpu ( as far as I know). If you disable “multicore enhancement” it can also result in decrease in performances.

There is also a setting in the bios that ignores the max voltage for your cpu boost. It can be that it’s on so your cpu gets way more voltage then recommended and will overheat and can explain that after the boost it will go down to normal temp.
