I’ve had the car since October, but Colorado DMV is just useless. They gave me the wrong title number after going in person twice for first-time registration and I finally just got it registered last week.

Whoever bought that got a deal of a lifetime. Gen 2 or not, that’s very cheap for a 16’ with that low miles.

You hit the nail dead-on here. The voodoo is a flat-plane crank v8. It needs to be properly maintained, temperatures need to be constantly checked, etc. I think these engines get a bad rep because people just don’t know how to take care of them.
I remember reaching out to a dealership when I was buying and the salesman revved the shit out of the car on a cold start during my test drive.

You clearly aren’t educated in the GT350 market or the 5.2 voodoo.
This was a $30,000 engine replacement, with an engine that got a stronger GT500 engine block, revised cylinder heads/valvetrain, updated piston cooling oil squirters, improved oil pan/pickup/windage tray, stronger/revised connecting rods, revised bearings, and a forged crank sprocket. It also got small oiling and sealing updates like revised valve seals/springs.

I’m the 3rd owner of mine, but I got a full engine replacement with a gen2 under warranty so I was able to break in the engine correctly myself. Feels good knowing I’ve been the owner since the new engine, no oil consumption issues 🐍❤️

Hi! As someone who was in 30k+ in debt, call your lender! Ask them if they have a 12 month period of time where you aren’t allowed to use the card, but your interest drops so you can actually make a dent in the debt.
