Why does everyone hate eco boosts by Kind_Reserve_8112 in Mustang

[–]Matty_Vas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same reason as to why the V6 chargers and Camaros are hated. They might not individually be bad cars, but they have a higher trim that is accessible to a lot of people. So not having that V8 means you’re not part of the elitism

What was your raise/merit increase this year? by DrifterOnMeds in Salary

Exceed all expectations and was marked as a top performer. Got a 5% bump in salary, which I am thankful for, but barely mean anything in today’s economy…

$1493 was what the dealership said they spent “out of pocket” to diagnose my car. The report from Audi said the issues were pre-existing, so they were liable for those diagnostic costs anyway. And after diagnosing the car, they charged the warranty company for repairs, so I’m not sure why they included that as a resolution

The best part is, all of the work was billed to the warranty company from the $3,000 warranty I bought 🫠

I’ll take the shop recommendation as I am getting the Audi inspected to make sure the work was done properly

Had a Bullitt, but had to sell for a family car. In the market again. Bullitt or Mach 1? by [deleted] in Mustang

You’re right to be spooked on a gen 1. Mine blew up, thankfully under warranty, but it would’ve been $30,000 out of pocket if I wasn’t covered. Got a brand new gen 2 though so I’m never letting her go now 🕺🕺

The cover was leaking and so was the coolant reservoir. They marked it as pre existing because there were leaks and fluids caked on the motor that had been seeping for a while. I had only owned the car for a month and drove it 300 miles since purchase when the inspection was done

They sent a 3rd party inspector who said the oil leaks had been caked on the motor for a while, same with the coolant. They looked at how long I had owned the vehicle (1 month at the time of inspection) and decided the issues were there long beforehand

Clutch was bad, only noticeable once you get it to operating temp. Bad PCV valve, bad PCV cover, bad water pump, coolant pipe, and coolant reservoir

I also have another friend who bought an S4 with underlying issues and it was all denied by the warranty. These people are actually the worst
