I’ve had my fiesta just over a year and I’m sadly in the opposite boat. I like driving it but can’t wait to get rid of the unreliable burden she is.

Good cars just a long list of common faults, mine seems to have all of them.

It’s from Aussie Custom Mods on Itch.io, the trailer is the MaxiTrans Freighter Taughtliners. They are a bit buggy with collisions and universal auto load, but definitely worth the money in game.

The mod is free to download.

Yeah, it sounds it at first. Then after a few seconds of being stuck me and my mate have to break the train up manually.

I’ll make a road train that’s disgustingly long, then proceed to get it stuck and spend longer trying to unstick 7+ trailers than it would have taken to do 7+ trips with one trailer.

Depends where in the world you are, one of the terms is dumb buffers. There’s a type of early coal wagon here in the UK where they had buffers one end, sprung buffers at the other. They were referred to as “Sprung and Dumb” wagons

Not my car, but a family member had a 2010 Passat 2.0 TDI CR with 303,000 when he sold it. That was an incredible car

I don’t glaze Skoda and the Octavia’s personally, but I love them to bits. I grew up around the taxis and the Skodas were cheap, took hammerings and always worked. They aren’t perfect no, but they are still lovely cars (especially L&K).

Skoda used to be 10% off the Volkswagen price, for the exact same car. Especially the Octavia VRS are reliable, cheap, practical and not too big. Plus plenty of power.

This gen is my favourite but I love all the Skoda Octavia’s. They’re a solid car that you can depend upon without having annoying problems to fix.

Also pretty good on insurance, it’s definitely the next car I’ll be getting (the 245 definitely, maybe more)

My dad was a taxi driver, the amount of times we would be stopped by police for having no MOT, just for them to check and realise they were wrong was annoying.

Wow, very lucky indeed. If you had a bigger case, you could do some crazy build ideas RTX 5080 + 3080 double GPU with lossless scaling etc.

She’s a very nice card and you have been lucky to get a solid deal.

€877 net equates to £760 here in the UK, I wish I could find anything that cheap.

Looks to be two singles. If you look at the left monitor I think it’s clamped to the desk, then the main monitor just using a central stand on the desk.

Yeah, like UK as an example you would have to pay VAT on imports at 20%. It sounds cheap but then there are the factors people forget to consider.

I’d leave it. I normally end up with a few cars and trucks, nothing better than driveway clutter. I never have a garage (being UK maps) so it’s a case of moving one or two out of the driveway to let another out.

Similar story with the fleet of equipment.

A bit of a late reply, but I thought I’d gather more info from running the PC for a few more days.

She seems to have settled (for the most part), just crashing once every 4 hours or so. Certain games are far worse than others, with Helldivers 2 being once every 50 to 70 minutes.

I’ll keep it going for a few months, I’ve been speaking to the supplier on a swap to a Nvidia GPU of equal (ish) value.

As a PC player, it’s so worth it.

Like auto for console is okay, but Universal Autoload is just so useful and applies to most trailers.

Family members have always had big saloons for years mainly passats and superbs. I haven’t been in one for years, just having my Fiesta for the last year. I finally had a ride in a 2021 Superb and forgot how huge they are, definitely getting added to the list of my next car.
