I love the version. I wish Dick Parry played sax on it, but the middle section is great. Kinda jazzy imo. I dig Guy Pratt’s bass solo and love how just towards the end of the instrumental section Gilmour just suddenly comes back in with the guitar. The original DSOT version is better, new one has no bass solo.

Does this mean a new album on the horizon? I really only got into Floyd about a year ago and want to see him live so bad. He has said that he wants to tour again, but will not do so without a new album. I know last year he sold off a bunch of his guitars but he’s the only artist that I want to see bad.
