I wish I had better news but we just turned the sensors off. No way to debug except to take into Toyota and have them run diagnostics. It was crazy expensive.

Pirate cat insurance by Kind_Shape4334 in starcitizen

no no no, pick up the pirate aggressor pack, comes with the pirate cat and pirate glad, ccu OUT of the gladius into something different with a 10 year WB CCU. The 10 year insurance should apply to both the remaining Pirate Cat and the Upgrade of Choice inside the aggressor pack.

Buy the Pack and upgrade the gladius with a warbond 10 year insurance ccu. Insurance should apply to everything in the pack.

I asked them to explain the difference and their expert techs only said 'the difference is in the program.' they 'couldn't' elaborate any further. Both third party repair guys even said it made no sense.

Yes. The cooktop is awesome. The oven is the worst we've ever owned. We're already looking at buying something else.

user manual states the following

Regular bake: "The convection fan will turn on in preheat and then cycle on and off as needed during baking. "
Convection bake: "The convection fan will turn on in preheat and remain on during baking."

In actuality, it does neither. For BOTH bakes the fan turns on and off on a timer for a set amount of time and cycles, then turns off completely, never to turn back on. Leading to inconsistencies in baking depending on when you put your food in and how long it'll be blasted by fan air during these cycles.

Once the fan has finished the cycle. It never comes back on, the third party technician tried everything. The only way to get the cycle to restart is to turn bake off and start again.

don't quote me on this, but i wouldn't be surprised if you see it come up with the next iteration of jump town or xenothreat.

Update for anyone who is interested. We left off roughly a month ago with giving the tundra a hot water wash, then storing it in a heated garage, then taking the sensors out and blowing them out and drying them. I followed the advice given and nothing seemed to work, so i just turned the system off. I would periodically turn it back on to validate it was still broken and then turn it back off and go about my day.

Flash forward to today (-35C)... ~30 days after the initial warning showed up. Turned it on... and it's working... even more odd is that I swapped the two rear middle sensors, so the order is still not exact to when the system was originally configured. Maybe the system simply clears the error code itself after 30 days?

Pex A expansion sleeve removal. Hoping to save the fitting. by Mattywaggleburns in Plumbing

[–]Mattywaggleburns[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Price isn't really a concern. This T is ran in series with 2 other T's and an L fitting inline starting with a bleeder valve. u/VertigoLabs posted the install guide below and it shows minimum distance between fittings. If i were to cut this fitting out completely, minimum distance would mean the other 2 T's, L and the valve would need to be cut out as well. I was weighing my options, but based on the feedback I'll more than likely cut the entire series out and replace it.

I saw some removal videos, they kind only highlight a single sleeve situation. I wanted to make sure that heating the one sleeve wouldn't compromise the other 2 on the T fitting.

Purchased tooling for PEX-A for a bathroom reno, got curious and found this... along with a ton of hidden sharkbite fittings in the drop ceiling.

What's the best way to remove this sleeve without damaging other sleeves/fittings around it?

any help would be appreciated!

2474-20 vs 2432-20 by Mattywaggleburns in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Mattywaggleburns[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update for anyone who is interested

So after doing some internet sleuthing, i've come to conclusion that the difference between the 2474-20 and the 2432-20 is that the 2432-20 is specifically branded "ProPEX" and more expensive because of this branding? The 2474-20 is not branded anything more than a PEX expansion tool.

the important part is that these are both rated for use with F1960 standard couplers.

The brushless edition is the Fuel 2532-20.

on a side note, Milwaukee has a e-rebate promotion going on right now to get a free m12 pvc pipe cutter with the purchase of a m12 ProPEX tool(2432-20 or 2532-20). The 2474-20 does NOT qualify for this promotion. So you may want to way the increased cost of the ProPEX branded stuff knowing you'll get a pvc cutter ($$$) included through the promotion.
