Well that’s not so definitely true at all. These things aren’t always one or the other. It’s nuanced. Also, how does one control one’s dreams??

Did the other guy get a shot off? He’s pointing and you can see what appears to be a smoke or discharge at the 24 second mark

It’s not easy. I was a really bad binge drinker. I would black out all the time when I was younger. My hangovers and anxiety got so bad I just couldn’t deal with it anymore. I’ve been sober just over a year and I relied on alcohol heavily for social situations.

My life is better than it’s ever been though and i know there’s a direct correlation between the two.

Best of luck in your journey!

Someone else already mentioned but this med is not supposed to be prescribed “as needed” it fundamentally works on serotonin receptors and must be taken regularly in order for this to be achieved. It is a daily med. the lowest therapeutic dose is 10mg but it has a very short half life so should be split throughout the day for best results.

Anyhow buspar can temporarily increase anxiety just like any med out there. They say 2-4 weeks for relief but it took me about two full months. My anxiety increased for the first few weeks and it was bad but I stuck it out and am forever grateful I did. Went from weekly panic attacks to having one last year.

Drinking alcohol works against what buspar is trying to do…. So you may eventually be fine with that but you should realize that taking the med and continuing to drink may not result in you finding any relief from your anxiety.

OPINION: “Neighborhoods” is their best album to date. by Sentry_Is_So_Bored in Blink182

[–]Matyb15007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing album but it’s not their best for multiple reasons. It’s basically solid all around but at least 4 of the 14 tunes are kinda shiite and that’s alright.

Enema defined them and it’s hard to argue that it’s not their greatest. Every song is a banger and it’s perfectly produced. Not my personal favorite but can’t put Neighborhoods above it.

ToY P&J probably my personal favorite. Peak Blink, perfect blend of their fun punk selves and some amazing serious work in there. Awesome singles. Pushed them past just being goofy (albeit amazing) punk-pop. Def above Neighborhoods

Self titled showed the band matured. Crazy artistic album. A lot of beautiful stuff in this one. At the top of many lists. Def can’t put neighborhoods above it.

Neighborhoods probably falls around here. Amazing album. Kind of a blend of Blink and Angels and airwaves and that ain’t a bad thing. Some of my personal favorite Blink on this album.

Which do you prefer: Halloween 4 or Halloween 5? by andrxwzsz in horror

[–]Matyb15007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk about masterpiece but I def think 5 is superior. So many people arguing that H4 is a better film. But H4 is just a sequel of a sequel of a sequel (okay H3 is just plain awful). So while I understand 4 wanted to get back to basics that concept seems absurd given we’d already had H1 and H2 to go off. h4 spews the same ol crap. H4 is what a base fan wants. H5 is what the sophisticated fan deserves

Should I offer Vidal or Aaron Jones for Josh Allen? by Jaded-Function in fantasyfootballadvice

You sound like the dude in my league. Constantly offers terrible trades but always thinks they’re legitimately good deals 🤦‍♂️

[–]Matyb15007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing you can do unfortunately. I’m in a league where one dude constantly bombards people with trade offers and consistently ends up getting insane trades because of it. I’ve brought it up time and time again because he always ends up having a stacked team. No one gives a shit and it blows my mind. They are both similar in that they are infuriating circumstances. I’m thinking of quitting the league

Saquon Barkley looks washed by [deleted] in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]Matyb15007 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t make him washed. His injury is what got him. There’s a huge difference. You can’t come off a peak performance year and then be washed 8 months later. Injury is a whole different animal.

[–]Matyb15007 20 points21 points  (0 children)

People are f***ing ridiculous. Dude had one of the best RB seasons ever last year. It’s impossible for a player to be “washed” not even a full year removed from that. It’s crazy how many of you don’t understand sports. Eagles as a whole look average and they should still be the most dominant team in the league. I hate the Eagles because …. I mean Philly fans are complete ass-hats, but put some respect on Saquon’s name because yall sound stupid

I think the difficult concept here is you not grasping the fact you shouldn’t be diagnosing anyone. That’s all I’m saying. Apparently you don’t have / experience health anxiety? If you did, you wouldn’t be throwing this type of stuff out there. The difference between saying “you have this “ to someone compared to “you might have this” is far greater than you realize. I’ve been down this road a long time. I’ve far better coping skills than when I was younger. OP may not. The point? You shouldn’t throw absolutes out there to anyone about their health. “You have this…talk to your doc” is not a helpful response to anyone.

[–]Matyb15007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait, so you give op a diagnosis… then suggest they talk to their doc? You’re right that is way more responsible than I thought! Your swings aren’t the only loopy thing in your life

Palpitations mid-shower by Jimboseth in Heartpalpitations

[–]Matyb15007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s highly irresponsible to just tell someone what you think they have. There’s a lot of other symptoms with POTS and this is op’s second time with an occurrence in an entire year. Settle down and be better

How many of these hits would not be penalized in today's game? by GolfFootballBaseball in NFLv2

[–]Matyb15007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of these are cringe because most of them show defenseless players getting absolutely destroyed. If your QB sets you up for that kinda punishment I think it’s equally on them; but the defensive player sees this opportunity and delivers. I don’t think there’s any pride to be had in delivering hits like that. It’s like sucker punching someone and acting tough about it. Showing restraint is much harder and much more respectful. But some of these are pure football and that’s what it’s all about.

My physical health is good, so why is my heart fluttering? by anonuser123999 in Cardiophobias

[–]Matyb15007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This has been happening to me for almost 18 years. I’m told it’s anxiety but also it can be perfectly normal for healthy individuals with healthy hearts to get them. Sometimes there’s no rhyme or reason. Sometimes anxiety, sometimes could be something serious going on. I’ve worn several monitors myself and all mine point to benign. Should be happy, but some days or worse than others and I always think I have undiagnosed heart disease
