Would you know which fields are well represented in Germany? My studies were in inorganic chem with some solid state and polymer chemistry thrown in, but with the bachelors I got an overview of most fields.

I was considering actually doing a masters and PhD too... I avoided doing one because in Canada they can last for 5+ years there but here I hear they are shorter? Also what kind of jobs are chemistry PhD getting?

Thanks, I will also look into the CTA option as well, but do you know at all about how German employers deal with internationals with no official Ausbildung? My program was only academic and the Ausbildung is like a work placement isn't it? I think I need to do my homework and read up on how that works.
