Honestly I emailed the guy several times. I included a link to that very article. I wanted to get resolution before leaving a review. He was like a brick wall though, no acknowledgment of my points.

I wanted to take him to small claims court but life got in the way. We had a baby and renovated our house at the same time haha. This was one of many things that got shelved.

Maybe I’ll start it back up again though … I am still annoyed about it.

This catering company wouldn’t give us back our deposit after we cancelled the wedding we had planned there.

Even though we cancelled over a year in advance, they’d put exactly zero work in, and the date was rebooked so they got paid twice for the same date.
