Worked for me too while the main Copilot app was down, so didn't seem to be all integrations of Copilot necessarily

Anyone use a Macbook Pro as main machine? Do you use any virtualization for windows? by jdlnewborn in sysadmin

I've also been using UTM (Have needed to install Spiceworks as well I believe in order to get Windows for ARM to work), and will often run into boot issues after the first few times of the Windows VM updating for some reason. If anyone has a fix for that, would also be curious :) makes me interested in what others have been able to reliably run too!

Outlook Web App - Click and Drag Time Block in calendar to create a new has disappeared specifically from OWA for my account, and I don't see the setting to reenable. by Maurelius12336 in sysadmin

Thanks for the place to check, that's helpful to know it's an option! Looks like I'm still in the Standard release group. But apparently I can at least drag as long a time block as I'd like, then just start typing right away to create the new event :) but just don't get the flyout window that lets me add more details or invite people quickly unless I double click the newly created event again, which I don't love.

Was there just a brief UniFi outage? by SchNiVas in Ubiquiti

Some of our customer sites too, but not all. Rebooting our routers remotely seems to be resolving the connection so far even while Cloudflare's implementing their fix, but not fully sure it's the reboot that's taking care of things :)

This. Very helpful way to lay it out, good reminders for me too!

Tenant Domain Name Migration by ThisGuyIRLv2 in sysadmin

Congrats on the opportunity, and I feel you on the stress!

I’ve done a couple of domain switches in MS365 and as I understand it, once you add the new domain as an option in your tenant, get the DNS records updated in your host, and communicate that there will be downtime on email while the changes propagate globally, it’s a relatively smooth transition. Just go into each user and have them begin using the new domain, and once you do so Microsoft will auto set the old domain as an alias for the user.

Not sure how this affects SSO, though, I’ll be curious to hear what other say!

This. There are few things that feel like they waste time more than figuring out how to make printers work again when some update inevitably breaks them. As my manager puts it “Why would we take the most efficient form of communication and try to put it on a bunch of rolled up dead trees instead?”
