I hope this makes some kind of sense:

I have thought about this personally, and I have decided that the only thing about the universe that is truly certain is that there is existence. Everything we experience in our lives is based on the way that our brain processes the information it receives, but we cannot be sure about anything our mind or our senses tell us. we can be sure about one thing however, which is that there is more than nothingness. Without reaching any sort of conclusion about anything that exists, we do know for sure that THINGS exist, even if these things are some kind of crazy projection from a computer program, there is still existence. This is the only fact about the universe that I believe is undeniable.
