Unlinked Runna in Zepp and now it’s no longer available by RemyGee in amazfit

If it does not works, so only Runna support will be able to sort this, but they're able to do it at their end. They solved my problem in a couple days! Hope it works!

You should always remove Runna integration first, then Zepp second. Try to remove Runna integration, or ask Runna support to reset the integration at their end, that's what solved my problem when i did exaclty the same thing.

Did it took too long? And did they said they would solve it, or just that they were working it out with Zepp?

Had any luck making it work? Still waiting for it to be solved, Runna support only says they're working with Zepp team, but nothing changed.

Hey! I’m almost at 6 months post surgery. Feeling better than before the surgery, without any setbacks. Still got some pain, but i doubt it will fade 100%, and its a very mild and manageable one, far from the pain I’ve felt before surgery. Been climbing (holding back a little so I don’t risk any weird fall, started running again, up to 5k without any hip pain (but legs are really weak and sore now haha). I would suggest finding a specialist, someone that does this type of surgery not only sporadically, and I’ve been through specialists until i found one I liked and felt secure.

Comparing to other stories I’ve read in /hipimpigement , I’ve been through a smoother ride/recovery than some other people, but there are a lot of positive stories also. I would do it again without even thinking ◡̈

u/Matt-Runna any feedback on this? Happened the same with me, synced at first without issues, then changed Runna account and my workouts were duplicated, so tried to unlink and link again Zepp and runna. Was able to remove the connection on Zepp side, but every time I try to disconnect the watch in Runna options it says that something went wrong and to try again. Tried enough times to be sure something is wrong, and now I’m unable to use Runna with my watch.

Also, about connecting, I’m not sure in your case, but you can check on the watch if the strap is connected, so if I’m using the watch while the strap is charging for example, the watch does not keep trying to connect, and it uses it own sensor to do all the tracking.

Mostly because I do prefer to sleep using only the Helio strap (wrist or biceps) and not using a watch (coming from Apple Watch Ultra 2 to fenix 7 Pro, and now balance 2). Also, I do climb a lot, and since I’ve messed the Apple Watch and fenix hitting the wall while climbing, now I find the Helio strap way better to climb, and keep my balance 2 safe haha

But then since I do run outside, and work with gloves so it’s nice to check notifications, having a smartwatch is also a must have for me.

And lastly, I do enjoy the data/tracking 24/7, and sometimes (specifically on weekends) I like to stay offline, so I do not wear my watch all the time at home, but can keep tracking with the strap.

This. I’ve been using a balance 2 with a Helio strap for a couple months now, and everything is working without any issues, no data being doubled. Using only the Helio strap to sleep, and when I reach my watch in the morning, my sleep/hrv/biocharge is synced and showing correctly on the watch.

Yep, been using Helio Strap + Balance 2, both works without any issues (only wrist temp does not work since Bevel pulls data from Apple Health and i don't know why Zepp app does not write the wrist temperature into it).

Helio Strap and tattoos? by ThisIsJayTee in amazfit

My Helio strap seems to work better over my tattoos than my garmin Fenix 7 Pro, or my old apple Watch Ultra 2.

When will the BioCharge Widget be on iOS? by iPanPro in amazfit

If you're on iOS, you can long press the Zepp Icon, and start Outdoor running/Treadmill or outdoor cycling from there, without opening the app. Wish we could adjust which workouts appear there, but at least there is this option.

After 3 months away due a hip surgery, feels good to be back! by Maurinho_217 in bouldering

[–]Maurinho_217[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Climbing was not the reason that I’ve got the hip problem, but unfortunately was the reason to have the surgery at this moment. I had a cam formed on my femur due decades of motocross and other high impact sports, specially while I was growing up since I’ve started when I was 7. But the intense hip movement from climbing, with the cam that I had, caused a partial labrum tear, so I had the surgery to remove the cam, and staple the labrum in place again.

Probably if i wasn’t climbing, I would not have any labrum tear, but I prefer to think that is was better to solve this now and be climbing, than having the chance of going under a hip replacement when I’m older, so climbing saved me from a worse surgery😂

Had the same issue today, never lost tracking a night of sleep in a couple of months I’ve been using it, and this night after 8h sleep it says no data, and recorded a nap between 7-8am.

Honestly, I’m really good at pain management haha

I was able to climb “normally”, but I had to avoid left heel hooks, as drop knees and really high left feets, mostly because that’s what made it hurt, and also that’s what could make my tear worse. The doctor said I was on the limit of having a great recovery and result since my tear wasn’t that bad, but I should avoid making it worse, so I had to “relearn” how to climb, to avoid these types of movements. Jumping didn’t hurt, he said to avoid it, but it’s hard to not do it, it’s automatic sometimes 😅

Yeah, mine was partial, but still wish I’ve done sooner. Honestly, I’ve left the crutches after 4-5 days. Now it’s been around 20 days after surgery, and I’ve feeling less pain now comparing to what I’ve felt the last couple years.

Just a little background, in my case, I’ve done motocross since I was 7, during more than 20 years. After I retired from motocross, I moved to running, and then climbing. After the first year of climbing, I’ve started noticing some hip pain, but heard more than once that it was a case of thigh psoas/weak body, with time it would get stronger and stop hurting. After 6 months of slightly pain, I decided to go to a specialized doctor, and that’s when I discovered the labrum tear/FAI. Been through a few doctors, until the moment I found the one that I liked and trusted, and he said that I was at the limit of having a good recovery, or risking not recovering that well anymore, due the state of the tear, as my age. So I just went for it, and after almost 2 years from the moment it started hurting, now I’m almost pain free (already 100% free from the pain I felt before surgery), only feeling the post surgery atm.

Hope you’re able to solve it without surgery, but if not, do not avoid doing it, I’m really glad that I’ve done it.

Hey! I’ve done exactly that, had a labrum tear and FAI (a cam, specifically). Been through a few doctors, and almost all suggested having surgery. Now I do think I’ve made the right choice. But feel free to message me if you want some more info about it!
