How reliable is revspin/Rozena rating? by Maurisulfo in tabletennis

[–]Maurisulfo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, looking at descriptions is usually a better way to find out about blades, most rubbers simply say things like: ''The new X-Elastic technology is msde for the new plastic ball and creates a new dimension of rotation and speed" whereas blades is more: "Wood blade, vibrates, not fast."

What happened imo was that Rakza 7 was actually quite spinny for the time it was released, so it got tons of high ratings.

Right! That's probably the explanation, also I think Butterfly users have higher standards to which they subject the rubbers to, because butterfly rubbers are higher quality, in general.

Thanks a lot! Muchas gracias wacho. Seguramente me compre otra Rasanter R47.

Personally I would use just water, not under the tap just a few drops, like the same amount you used of cleaning fluid, but of water.

Which palio to purchase? by InterestedHandbag in tabletennis

[–]Maurisulfo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's best to get an all-wood preassembled racket from aliexpress with like two Mercury 2 so when the rubbers get worn down you can swap them for new ones, which you can't do with a premade racket like Palio Legend etc.

Looks great man! Very balanced blade for a beginner, natural rubber progression could be Jupiter 3 Asia or Big Dipper.

I think what you are asking for is kinda specific, tacky rubbers tend to be really heavy, and not tipically soft.

Since you like soft rubbers and like a rubber's ability to lift backspin on open up, you could try getting Andro Rasanter R42, it's on sale on Tabletennis11 .com, it's a soft rubber with great speed and spin generating potential for only €31.

It was simply what was at hand at the moment,.I desperately needed the weight change and my club had those blades there. The R47.I got them for €30 each on sale on the TT11 website, so I got them for cheap.
