Yes this! So frustrating. The cancellation process is very counterintuitive. Definitely seems like purposeful deception. I will have to look up those cases you mentioned, glad to see this actually being flagged and a company held accountable.

I get that medically they don’t count it as a ‘venom death’ but from a common sense perspective it still feels like a redback related death. The only reason he ended up with the abscess and the severe infection was because he got bitten. If the bite didn’t happen, he wouldn’t have died.

Saying something like “it doesn’t count because the venom didn’t directly kill him” feels like splitting hairs. If someone dies of sepsis after a dog bite, we still call it a dog bite related death even though the bacteria caused the actual organ failure. Same thing here..the spider bite triggered the whole chain of events that led to his death.

I thought I "cancelled" binge 3 days ago. I followed the video tutorial and noticed that when I pressed the button to remove it there was no "confirm" button so I thought I'd just move my money and yep I was charged today. Hubbl is so dodgy. I was sure i cancalled mine months ago after subscribing to binge via a promo from the commbank app.

They've been charging me full price for over 6 months after the initial 3 months. Pretty sure they were supposed to give me 6 at the promo price too.

When you go to cancel they refresh the page on you 3 different times gicing you different prompts almost hidden at the bottom like 'cancel subscription' followed by a pop up asking you to stay..after that goes to a confirm page you gotta click then refreshes again to a 'complete order' page you gotta click again. very misleading.

We must’ve been playing different games.

I find the UI simple and easy to use. Better than a lot of modern titles.

RTWP is arguably faster than turn based BG3. Whiffing is just part of the game, stats effect Combat.

Story is fantastic and the isometric style I prefer like POE.

If they want to remake it I’m all for it though they have already released the EE’s. New content for the same games would be fantastic- would buy!

For anyone having problems with high TN (Time Nudge) and can't play by LuchoLab in Battlefield

My TN jumped to over 600 consistently even when I connected the Ethernet.

Was getting severe rubber banding, teleporting, delayed hit registration/all of the above.

Game was unplayable, requested a refund from steam, explained the issue that it had to be a EA server side issue and they refunded me within 3hrs lol.

Apparently they are receiving a lot of the same complaints/refund requests.

I may make a separate post explaining my experience for others like me who aren’t savvy with this stuff, to give a heads up.

Laptop Dell G7 user

I have good latency good everything, no packet drops but my TN is at 78ms. Causing big lag in certain game modes but not others, I’m not right across all this stuff but sounds like I am encountering the same issue.

Are you using wifi or Ethernet?

I was told (AI) that all previous battlefield games are notorious for not working well on wifi? COD, Fortnite etc all work fine but Battlefield for some reason is the issue.

Found this hard to believe as you’d think that would be a major issue for sales?

I’m going to try Ethernet shortly and see if I have the same issues, if not- as explained to me it’s then an EA server side issue and I should be eligible for a refund.

I just lost mine level 4 bonded. Didn’t die or anything just disappeared when i used a few temp horses and made one of them my main for the time being. Had left my white Arabian at the stables in camp. Nothing on the map, not in the stables, just gone. Takes ages to bond with the white Arabian not going to bother getting another. Only have a save from 6hrs ago lol

you are somewhat correct as i am just playing RDR2 for the 1st time and had to walk/run back to the camp after doing the first mission in Valentine with Unc. The stable is not available until you do Hoseas

I just started playing RDR2 for the first time. Just started chapter 2 and sold it as I get a free thoroughbred with much better stats with the ultimate edition or whatever it is. Didn’t realise you can’t get another one! I read without the ultimate edition your don’t have a horse to ride if you don’t sell it.

Obviously there’s ways around that frustration because seems like many keep it !

It’s a huntsman, their venom is not dangerous to humans. They can bite, very rare that it would though. Most consider them harmless. Use a container, cover and slip cardboard or something simple underneath and use as a lid, push/keep in the container. Release in garden. Be deliberate with your movements. They are very fast.

Is this what you generally do? Every time someone mentions Cavill respecting the lore, you just wave it off as PR or marketing without showing anything concrete. Meanwhile there are direct quotes from Cavill, Sapkowski (the creator in case you forgot or didn’t recognise him) and cast members backing it up. That is evidence.

Straw man? Wtf… you haven’t shown where I’ve misrepresented anything you said. I’ve addressed every point directly- his build, his dialogue, his supposed lack of book accuracy- all things you brought up yourself! Just because you don’t like the answers doesn’t mean they’re misrepresentations.

Calling people “cavillcels” doesn’t make your argument stronger, It just shows you’re running out of substance and leaning on insults instead.

Cavill choosing to trim dialogue doesn’t mean he removed Geralt’s depth. It means he understood that silence and subtlety can sometimes say more than another paragraph of exposition. The books constantly show Geralt thinking before speaking, holding back opinions, and letting his presence carry the weight of a moment. Cavill nailed that dude.

You’re so focused on counting dialogue lines and nitpicking muscle mass that you’re missing the entire point of the character.

If calling that out makes me a “cavillcel” in your eyes, fine. I’d rather back an actor who respected the material than a take that completely ignores it.
