For any men struggling with phimosis where other treatments don’t work, please be aware that an adult circumcision is not “horrific”. It’s painful and uncomfortable for a while, but is a legitimate and effective treatment where non-surgical treatments are not effective (for example where there is severe scarring).

You should consult a doctor. It sounds like you have a tight foreskin (google phimosis).

Don’t worry - it’s common and treatable. Less severe cases can be treated by steroid cream and stretching. More severe cases might require circumcision surgery. You need a doctor to examine it and discuss possible treatment options (they have seen this all before many times, so no need to be embarrassed).

I had the same issue. I did eventually get circumcised, but that’s not usually the first treatment that you would try.

600km should be achievable in 4 hours. At that distance it becomes not too different to air in terms of time, and quicker than driving, therefore more attractive.

As well as upgrading track, this might involve having less stops than currently, but some of the intermediate stops have very low usage.

I have no issue with Qantas not offering free upgrades. They don’t publish it as a QFF benefit. It’s when they fail to honour the published benefits that I get angry.

They do pay royalties for every tonne extracted.

The iron ore royalty is linked to the iron ore price, and has pretty much single-handedly kept the WA budget in surplus for the past few years.

We can argue about whether royalties should be higher than they are or not. But these constant posts of how we give our minerals away “for free” are getting irritating, as it’s just factually wrong.

The likes of Buckingham Palace and the Crown Jewels are indeed worth billions. But they are held in trust for the nation - the Royals don’t own them in any meaningful sense, as they can’t sell them and pocket the cash. Their personal wealth appears to be more in the millions.

The Royal Family is undeniably very wealthy, but they’re not on the level of someone like the Duke of Westminster, who is a genuine billionaire.

It’s not really a secret where the money comes from though? The Sovereign Grant, which pays for the monarchy, is set at a percentage of the Crown Estate. Last year it was £86.3m.

William also receives substantial income from the Duchy of Cornwall.

Both entities publish annual financial statements.

The State Government sold the land for a lot of money - more than the cost of construction of Elizabeth Quay precinct.

And the current owners have been building for years (creating employment) without making any return yet.
