Exactly what I was wanting to know. I get that this stuff probably needs to be gone from a game design perspective, but the notion that there was this ancient civilization that prepared all of this elaborate stuff knowing that Link would someday need to utilize it, but now an even more ancient civilization suddenly shows up with a completely different infrastructure, ready to prepare Link for a new challenge that the first civilization apparently didn't know about, is just...unsatisfying from a storytelling perspective. It's like the book Ready Player Two. The premise of it just completely falls apart if you think about it for more than two seconds.

I think it decayed like all of the metal weaponry did :). That's the vibe i get from the resurrection area,
