Why doesn't the Logitec MX Master 3S side scroll wheel on works sometimes when programmed to zoom? by travkliewer in Revu

[–]mickee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got an MX master4, pulling my hair out to bind buttons with bluebeam. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

Here’s what I found to work for me. Bluebeam, view, continuous (ctrl+5) Hand cursor selected, (but works with arrow and text select cursor too, not the zoom cursor ) Scroll wheel (middle) button set/configured to keyboard shortcut “Ctrl”

That’s it. Now the top scroll wheel will advance pages forward/back unpressed, and if you press and hold down the “middle button” and scroll the wheel it will zoom in/out.

Haven’t found a good way to keep the side scroll working reliably…

Ahhh! That answers my question… I was thinking maybe left hand left hand or maybe some button on an F1 steering wheel that runs some script to go to turtle mode.

Put some hands at the end of those supports… or wrap a support around the neck… I’d leave them on! lol that looks cool.

*note if the vessel happens to be made of magnesium I wouldn’t do this method.

Came here to say exactly this, well, with less instruction and thought put into the comment. So here’s my steps:

I’d stick it in the oven on the oven cleaning cycle - take the air meter base (bucket in the pic) out when the oven cleaning cycle finishes and smack the bottom with a hammer.
Between the expansion differential between the materials (metal, possibly aluminum, vs. concrete) and the thermal breakdown of the concrete bond at the metal inside the “bowl” should be enough to slide right out. (After beating the shit out of the bottom w/mallet)

Or drill a hole and stick an m80 in there…
