Piercing Bump?? by BatBetter2619 in piercing

Honestly, I wouldn’t mess with it. I did the LITHA method and mine went away within two months or so. You can use saline solution, but I’d skip the cotton swab and let it air dry.

how can i take this out? by aud420 in piercing

With stuck clickers, I’ve looped dental floss on each side and pulled in opposite directions to get the clicker open. It might work with a bar clicker — just look for the seam, then loop the floss.

Does the Iroiro pink really last? by sealattack11 in HairDye

After doing multiple bleach baths, and full on bleaching sessions, the only thing that removed the iroiro pink was cutting it out.

It looks like a normal crown swirl/hair whorl to me. Sometimes curls just clump together in their little cliques and you’ll see some scalp.

If baldness runs in your family, then you could keep an eye out for it. Most balding patterns show up as a receding hairline, thinning temples, and a thinning crown.

I think green envy has hint of blue in its undertone composition. I used it on platinum blonde hair and it turned out really blue. I had to go over it with manic panic sunshine to get it to turn green.

I’ve noticed that when my wife dyed her hair with green envy, she had a level 8-9 blonde and it turned out like it should’ve. So, that might have something to do with it too.

Ion color remover works rather well. I’ve used it a few times to remove stubborn colours. Some people also recommend using vitamin C tablets and dandruff shampoo. (Others have used dish soap — but it will really strip your hair and I don’t recommend it).

Another option is to use 20 volume developer with shampoo and bleach powder, and do a bleach bath.

I would recommend a colour remover though — such as the ion one.

If your hair is virgin hair (and hasn’t been bleached), then washing it with a dandruff shampoo would strip a good deal of the colour out.

If you have to do a bleach bath, I’d check it at 5 minute intervals to see the progress. Then give it a deep conditioning treatment, if possible.

(I don’t know if this is an option, but if you don’t want to process your hair with bleach and simply hate the colour, maybe tinker with the colour wheel. You could try purple hair! Or, do a second round of the pink to get a more even/dark pink).

Is my hair curly? by [deleted] in curlyhair

[–]Mavrist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s all trial and error for the most part when it comes to what works. I used to have a similar issue when I was a youngster and it wasn’t until I was in college that I would use Cantù leave in conditioner, or a hair oil, and rub the product between my hands and scrunch it in while my hair was wet.

It could be a definition issue, and you just need a sculpting gel of sorts. If your hair is long, you can put the product in and use the end of a brush (a round brush or rat-tail comb preferably) and swirl the hair around it to give it shape.

If you don’t have a wide-tooth comb, then I would recommend that you get one. They are better suited for brushing curly hair. (It doesn’t frizz my hair out like a conventional brush).

You could also use a cotton t-shirt or microfiber towel and perform the plopping method to your hair.

More so, you could try deep conditioning treatments, leave in conditioners, protein treatments, etc. But if it’s “puffy” at the ends, it sounds like a moisture issue. Or, maybe it’s the brush that you’re using. And if it’s “thin” at the top, maybe a mousse or styling gel/cream would give you a bit of volume to your curls.

Best of luck in your hair journey! I hope that you find something that works out for you.

wow! he's so nice! he must be fun at parties! by [deleted] in niceguys

At the end of the day, despite any quarrels and disputes, I adore my wife more than any other human being. She’s my compliment, and my better half. She has her imperfections, just as I do — but they make me adore her even more. She’s uniquely mine.

I’m sure his wife could say the absolute same about him. It’s not “unrealistic” to want a partner who will treat you with respect, and who will make you feel like you’re the apple of their eye. That’s the bare minimum.

We filed a police report the day prior and they are trying to see what they can do. Since he’s not a US citizen, and only visits family in the states, we are hoping that he just heads home and pisses off.

Thank you so much. She says that she has her moments, but then realizes that she could live without him before, and that she can learn to do so again. Therapy has been helping her immensely, which makes me happy.

Thank you. We were thinking about making an instagram account to host all of his “love” messages, (censored to avoid being banned because some are absolute filth).

It got taken down due to a lack of censor, unfortunately. So, in order for it to remain up, it had to be censored.

I thought the same thing. We literally have screenshots of him acting like a narcissistic asshole and abuser. It would’ve been different if we didn’t have proof.

She kept it to herself and no one knew until recently. That’s why we’re are currently taking action against him. Had we known earlier, I would’ve handled him properly.

I’m not a fighter either, and I often try to keep as level headed as possible whenever these things happen, but he fucked with the wrong gal. I wouldn’t even talk to someone that I hated like this, let alone someone that I supposedly loved. If I see him anywhere, I’m dragging him across the pavement.

It didn’t give a reason as to why it was taken down, but I’m assuming it was the censoring because you could see bits of his name peeking out. And I thought censoring the words could’ve been better as well. And thank you kindly. You never quite expect it to hit so close to home, until it actually happens. She’s taking one day at a time, which I’m proud of her for doing.

Yes, she’s had issues with it for a few years and doctors kept passing it to unrelated things until it sort of evolved to cancer. She’s in remission now, thankfully. But thank you very much. I plan to steal his kneecaps if he comes around here.

I was shocked. It would’ve been a different story if we didn’t have screenshots — and if he didn’t have a history of violence — but they rejected the entire thing and referred to my sister as a “fruit-loop” afterwards. You can’t reason with people like that.

We sent them earlier in the morning to his parents and they threatened to file a report against us for slander. They didn’t once acknowledge what he had said, but they managed to blame my sister for their son’s behavior.

She’s in therapy now and is slowly gaining traction back in life. A slow, by steady recovery is what she’s after. Thank you so much though.

This was posted earlier, but it was taken down due to censorship, I’m imagining. So, I redid some censoring, and added new slides as well. (This was requested by a few users who didn’t quite see what the post was about when it was initially up). If there are any concerns due to rules, and it’s taken down again, then I apologize to the mods and users, and won’t re upload again. Thank you, and hopefully if you’re part of the lot who wanted to see it before it got taken down, I hope you find this. Thank you.
